Really nice concept, in some way when I started playing I immediately thought of my game (The part of changing shapes to complete) we just had different approaches and I liked yours very much. The game is nicely polished, and as also happened to mine's, it need more challenges. Good job!

When I read the description I at first didn't want to play it because I thought it was just another "you die and can walk on your corpse" game. Glad I did play it though as I am pretty sure that "die to change your shape" isn't something that came up yet.

The game plays nice and the colored blocks instead of sprites work for this game. However, I would suggest to have some better indication on when the crushers will go down. Maybe have them retract just a bit more before they expand like the skewers in MM2 or add some other visual effect. Makes it just a bit nicer to time.

Very cool game! in level 6 there's a bug where you can glitch through doors to not be needed to die.

good concept!

I really liked the concept of crushing the shapes and transforming them. Nice mechanics, well done!

I would appreciate your feedback as well :D

The ratio was messed up, and I had trouble playing it with the aspect ratio :(

Cool mechanic, needs to be explored further. Felt with the checkpoints the stages can be made more interesting. Wonderful sound effects.

I love this game! The shape changing concept is so cool.

Very cool and I like how the player changes shape while being crushed before dying which adds that extras niceness to the effect. Simple yet effective mechanic. That last level had a very tight window which made me lose a few times but I eventually got it. The only thing I would recommend is to allow me to use SPACE to jump rather than open the menu as I did endup pressing space a few times when I was ready to jump only to be met with the pause menu and then in a panic I hit the "return to menu" button rather than resume. :P Maybe put that button at the top? Anyways, nicely done!

Super clever mechanic executed flawlessly!! I love the polish on the character, the menu buttons, the clean + simple graphics. Great job!!

Really fun! I feel like the checkpoints system was underutilized, being only in the last level, but fun for just a 3 day game jam!

Amazing concept. The idea could've been expanded more but for a 3 day long game jam? Great use of this mechanic.

Really liked the mechanic, and the polish was great for a jam game. My only general complaint - although, a bit hard to define - is that I didn't find it very "viscerally" fun? Was in a sort of uncanny valley between satisfying platformer and slow-paced puzzle for me, if that makes ANY sense. :P
Really appreciated the jump buffering/coyote time!

Great execution of a simple idea. Would love to see what puzzles can be possible with the shape-changing mechanic.

I really loved the idea! I feel like you could really build upon it to create a unique and interesting puzzle game (eg. being squashed horizontally and then vertically could result in your player being smaller cube, or maybe more toggleable checkpoints to make some kind of an interesting puzzle).

Gameplay-wise, the dying and respawning was a little bit tedious. I get that it had be included to fit the theme better, but if you could move forward after being squashed, the gameplay would feel much smoother.

Also you really nailed the minimalistic aesthetics. Overall, great job! :)

Nodt bad :D just after some levels I personally think it is a little tedious

This is a creative take on the game jam theme.

I like it!

Nice! This was a great game! The game was not so challenging, but a lot of fun, which allowed me to finish it, which is hard in a game jam, congrats! Keep working on this, the can be a nice little puzzle game in the future!

Really cool idea and well executed. Some kind of "inflating" obsticles could be a cool way to make the puzzles more varied. Enjoyed your choice of music and the menus felt really nice.

Pretty nice game, the art is really simple and you used a really creative way to approach this year's topic, super original and unique! Amazing work
