Huh, that was... interesting! :D Visuals and sound are just great, it's perfect :D Gameplay-wise it felt a little repetitive, I did 5 rounds of feeding the guerilla and nothing really happen (I only got Mysterious Banana once, on my 1st round), but I guess it's because of randomness? Nevertheless, it was really something else, great job :D

Well. Truly unique experience, today I got beaten by a banana, good thing that another banana decided to heal me.
Artstyle is awesome and I had fun playing the game. It may seem a little strange, but the only thing that matters is that it is fun to play.
Nice game, the graphics were great and gave me Warioware/Rhythm Heaven vibes. I love the pencil effect you did and I loved the dumb faces on all the bananas and how unsettling they were. The music was great too.
I couldn't really figure out what to do in this game though. It seems like you go to monke, then buy bananas, then peel them, then give them to monke? Rinse and repeat? I couldn't figure out how to progress the island victory condition, it seems like all I could do was go to monke.
Reading the comments, it seems like sometimes the bananas damage you? That never happened to me, so I feel like you should definitely have a guaranteed rotten banana so the player can learn what they do and make sense of the gameplay more.
But overall, I love the weirdness and goofiness of this game, it is definitely one of the most unique artstyles of this jam!
The randomness in the game can definitely lead to some undesirable situations, such as you not getting any rotten bananas. It is something we aim to fix after the jam, with a new random system that requires rotten bananas after a certain amount of time. And, the mysterious architects tell you how to get the Banana Paradise ending!

A truly icon game, I think I'm going to be afraid my Banana's going to attack me every time I unpeel one now. In all seriousness, I loved this game. I thought it was a good ethical dilemma, felt kind of like loot boxes (in a good way) with unpeeling the bananas. The art and sound look great. I keep getting super far but have not yet won, I'll have to return to this one at a later date. Check out my game if you get a chance!
