Forcing you to die to use the other character's power is not a bad idea! Could be helpful to get a small indicator of where the door after killing all enemies. Loved the little frog's shoot animation
Frog is the best!
the game is very good, but a bug occurred to me in a level where the character was divided in two
Sorry for that!
ntp, its a good game
The idea is cool but there are problems with the controls, some times when firing I would move forward, some times backwards. Do the proyectiles have gravity? I wasn't hitting exactly where I was pointing. If they have gravity, it wouldnt be much of a problem if I could fire more often, then I could make small corrections with that in account, but I had to wait between each shot.
Rooster's ninja stars are affected and frog's rockets aren't. Also, in the editor the fire rate is a lot faster, but in the build it's very slow. I even figured a solution, but I'm not sure if I can fix that bug during the rating phase
check out the late submisions topic, jonas said urgent bugfixes are fine
Great, I'll fix it soon! It changes the gameplay a lot so I guess it's allowed...
Edit: I read the rules and I won't update
very impressive, but the combat feels quite bad because of how slow your fire rate is

really nice! I like how you have to change your playstyle everytime you die, I think it would have been better if you would have given the different characthers really different ways to play, right now the differance isnt all that big.
also I got a impassable level once, maybe becuase its randomly generated?
good job!
Sorry for the impassable one, levels are procedurally generated and with only 3 days the system isn't perfect. I had plans for more character and all, but this jam was a one big technical issue for me
its fine! game jams force you to make choices and you ended up with a nice game!
Very fun! randomly generated games are the coolest!
I also like procedural geneneration very much. This game would be so much better if it was a week long jam
Agreed!
Very fun game . Good job making it in just 3 days :)
Very fun game. good job. :)
this was a fun concept took me a while to get the hang of but i enjoyed it

Nice art and concept! mechanics are a little buggy but great job nevertheless!
Cool game, but one time I managed to have 2 players at the same time, I don't know if that is intended.
Glad you liked it!
It's not, I even knew about this bug before building the game, but I simply did't have time to fix it, among with some other.
Nice game, but i dont like how the jump feels.
That's because after building the game the jump wasn't as high as in the editor and I had to redo it without all the nice jumping features(coyote time, hold W longer --> jump higher) I had before :((
The art looks great and the controls feel good too, but I found that the frog character can jump infinitely when touching a wall. I dont know if this is meant to happen.
Great choice of sound effects. I had a great deal of fun throwing ninja stars with the Rooster and traversing the world(s) feels fun and satisfying. Thank you for sharing! :)
Yeah, I was in a big rush, as for some reason my characters were jumping lower in the build than in the editor and I had to redo my jump from scratch. Turns out I forgot to adjust the ground check :((
Anyways, thanks for playing!
Don't sweat it, you put out a great game! Good luck! :)
Nice game!! The procedurally generated levels are pretty cool and well done. I liked the variety of enemies too. Dying to change characters was cool, especially since the two characters are well balanced. The only thing I think would help is increased vertical mobility to help navigate around the stages easier (maybe something like the ropes from Spelunky or some kind of hover move). All in all great work!
Yeah, all these features went through my mind, but I barely made it even without them (I'll never do a procedural generation for a 3 days jam again)
I liked it! Only thing was that as thr frog I could jump infinitly up the wall, not sure if this was inteded or not but nuntheless awesome job!
Thanks for playing!
It's not intended, I had to redo my jumping QUICK, because for some reason characters were jumping lower after building the game.
Good graphics and an implementation of the novel idea 😀
Cool game! The mechanics are pretty cool and fit the theme really well. Nice job.
Very nice procedurally generated levels! Add some camera lerp and it would look amazing!
I'd appreciate if you played my game! Send me yours too!

Great! I'll check it out soon
I think has lots of replayability value because of the procedurally generated levels. It could have used some more polishing, but it's impressive as it is considering you made it in just 3 days. The tutorial was amazing and helped a ton, I wish more submissions introduced the player into the game like yours did! Nicely done.
Thanks a lot! Yeah, next time no precedural generation in a 3 days game jam! I feel like I could make it a ton better if it was 1 week long.
