Thanks for the feedback! The movement being slippery is a bug I plan to fix tomorrow. I do agree about the resource gathering and I plan to increase the spawn rate as well

If I were making it, I’d maybe connect all the gears to generators with wires. The wires could be different colors for powered/unpowered or an animation could play for the powered generators. Then the goal could shift to powering the unpowered generators. A simpler solution would be to put a little icon (lightning bolt or target) in the middle of the corresponding gears

This was really fun to play! My only complaints were that I would get really close and have to fully reset to try again and that I wasn't sure which gears were going to turn automatically at the start of each level. A way to pause and start the gears, while making changes in between, as well as some more visual indicators would really help. Great work!

Thank you for playing! There’s a bug with the movement on some computers that causes that issue. I’ve known how to fix it since the day after the deadline but can’t update it until tomorrow. I bound cancelling building mode to right click but I agree that escape should do the same thing and I’ll definitely add that in soon. Thanks for the feedback

Thank you, the shader does that as well. I just found that while it improved the visuals, it didn’t achieve the full effect I wanted for the lighting. I linked the color palette I used in the description of the game

This was a really great idea for a card game. I had a lot of fun playing against the bot and it was pretty hard. If you were gonna develop this further, it would be cool to see some particle effects/animations to spice up the visuals or the option to play against another person. Great work!

Thanks! I was experimenting with a shader that lowered the resolution to make the lighting more pixelated. I definitely have some more work to do with it to use it in the future

Loved the art style and the amount of polish that obviously went into it. I haven't played or like dice-based video games before so I was skeptical, but I enjoyed this a lot

It's really cool that you could make this in just a week. Some of the delays between punches/rolls felt long but otherwise the gameplay was really smooth and fun. Great work!

I really liked the take on the theme. I agree with some of the other comments that I would want the movement to be a bit faster but I enjoyed playing it as is

Thanks for trying anyway! I’m happy you were still able to enjoy the visuals and feel of the game

Haha thanks for playing. I probably need to increase how far you throw the bombs to help with that but I’m glad you still had fun

It was pretty hard to get started but I think it's worth it. Definitely not an easy puzzle game, and the power lines are sometimes confusing. But, it's really rewarding when you finally figure out something and I had a lot of fun with it

I loved how goofy the game is and how it just throws you into the action without warning. I think almost every part of it was as good as can be, I just wish there was some damage feedback on the enemies because I wasn't sure when I was actually hitting them

I had a lot of fun playing this. The mechanics and level design was well thought out and the game is very replayable because you get to set up your own levels. I wish there was a tutorial at the beginning because I wasn't exactly sure what I was doing until I experimented on my own

Thanks for the feedback! The idea is that you start out doing just small levels, so if a slime kills you it happens relatively quickly. Then, once your gun and pickaxe are further upgraded, you can defend yourself more easily and gather more resources which enables you to complete the larger maps

Loved the art style and all the game mechanics were really polished!

Really fun game! One of my favorites from the jam so far and definitely like top 3 in enjoyability

Thanks! If I had more time I'd focus on levels that slowly introduce each mechanic rather than a single tutorial since there's a lot to get used to

This was one of the goofier games I've played so far and it was really enjoyable. I thought the balloons were basically useless but then I accidentally chained a hit with a tennis ball to turn off the light. I can see the potential for expansion into a full game and maybe spinoffs. Great work!

I really liked the art style and the atmosphere. At first I thought it would be a walking simulator but the slow introduction of puzzle and enemy mechanics was really well handled. I was also worried about the movement because of the isometric camera angle but it was very intuitive and I never accidentally fell off the platforms

Thanks! I was worried I was going overboard with the particle effects but I'm glad they had a positive effect on the game overall

It was a bit overwhelming at first but the tutorials helped. This is really in-depth and extensive for a game jam game and it's definitely one of the most replayable games I've seen. Great work!

Thanks for the feedback! I tried to make the tutorial as useful as possible but I know that info-dumping can only get you so far. Thanks for sticking with it though

I loved the level design here. It started off pretty easy and was one of the more easy-to-learn games I've played in the jam. But by the end the puzzles were fairly difficult but still enjoyable. I like the music track in the super max levels, couldn't beat them though.

It took me a second to get used to the game and what the goal was but after that it was really fun. It's a simple gameplay loop but it kept me coming back trying to get farther each time. I'll probably play this after the jam's over too

Had a great time playing this, it reminded me a lot of fireboy and watergirl, just with graphics that I thought looked nicer. Great work!

FYI there’s a completely different music track on the end screen that’s my personal favorite. I think of it as an extra reward for winning a level. Thanks for playing!

This was a really unique and polished game, I had a great time playing it. I liked that everything was set in a Windows XP-style OS and trying to focus on as many games as possible at once was a good challenge.

Really fun fighting game. Haven't played many before so I'm not sure how it compares but I liked the art style and the enemy variety. It would be cool if there was some choice as to what combo you get next so you could build specific characters.

Had a lot of fun playing this. The visuals and polish were on point and I could see it becoming a full game in the future if more levels were added. The movement was a little wonky but not enough to detract from the enjoyment. Great job!

Thanks! I put a lot of effort into it so I’m glad it shows

Thanks for playing and the feedback. I tried to add as much content as I could while also being able to balance most of it and make it fun

Had a pretty good time playing but the mechanics definitely take a while to master. Reminds me of Getting Over It a little bit, though less rage-inducing. I really like how fleshed out the world is. It makes me feel like I could explore for a long time without discovering everything, which I know is hard to accomplish in a week

Thank you for playing! I really tried to balance the difficulty so you'd die often enough but still want to come back and try again

This is such a crazy and fun game, really enjoyed my time playing it. After about 2-3 levels I was one-shotting everything and getting way too many points, but my gun looked goofy enough that I still had fun. I wish there were more levels and the enemies were more aggressive

This is really polished and I love the art style. The variety in enemies and different powerups keep the core mechanics interesting for a really long time

Had a fun time playing this. The art was really nice and made the game a lot more fun to play. The soundtrack also fit very well. It would be cool to expand the game by adding more rooms or more levels with entirely different environments

Really fun game! I liked the art style a lot and the totem mechanic was a fun twist. I thought some of the jumps were too hard but it might be a skill issue. Great work!

Thought it was pretty fun and it was easy to learn since I used to play game dev tycoon. It's really cool you were able to build all this in a week since there's a lot of content
