Very nice and polished game !

This is the best short-game I’ve every played in this jam!

It would’ve been more addicting if the game was a bit more harder and had a wider variety of cards.

The game is visually appealing, and the cards have unique effects. Good job on making a functional card game.

The games are really short, but this is good for a short experience (which is good for game jams.)

A better enemy AI would've been nice, as some cards are clearly made to be sacrificed (for example: a 1 damage shield.)

It's a pretty good idea, very fun to play. With a more fast pacing gameplay it can be very addictive. :) Well done!

I had a lot of fun trying different strats. Well done!

Really good game, It was a little bit short but I liked it (especially the sacrifice sound xD)

honestly, the only bad part about this game is that there isn't more off it. I really hope you expand on this. because even after playing it 3 times, i still need more

I love the sacrifice animation and sound effect (perfectly over the top). Great interpretation of the focus too, always glad to see someone make a card game in jams.

The theme is really well treated. A card game is a good idea to fit the focus. I like the vintage style. Good Job

Interesting game. Took me a few tries to win, but kept me interested in trying to do so. Did feel a little confused as to what I could have done better on a couple of runs or felt like the RNG was just against me. As mentioned though, it was enough fun I kept going!

That was awesome! Great thematically, excellent polish, solid art and sound, and even great comedic timing. It left me wanting more, which is perfect for a game jam! I especially thought your use of the theme was perfect. This was really really solid, definitely one of my favorites from this jam.  Other people have already mentioned what I would recommend for the game, so no notes from me! Great work! :)

Sacrificed my loyal followers, got beaten up by a demon and lost in two turns. 10/10 would be demi-god again. I REALLY liked the implementation of this game on the concept, although the demon got 2x 2xdmg and one shot me, so I see he's not pulling any punches. Obviously it would have been great to see all the cards be unique followers with backstories and families and simulated trust in their god, but for game-jam game this was perfect.

Also, the sound effect and visuals for a sacrifice were timed perfectly to make me laugh every time.

Hey that's a good game! It ran slowly for me, but where I was didn't have a good internet connection, so I didn't take that into consideration. The gameplay was easy to understand and pick up. It has a good loop. I would have liked more variety in the cards, but I'm sure you have if there was more time, so that's alright. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere in the environment. I could see this being really successful as a mobile deckbuilding rogue-like game

Also my game is fixed now!

This is a solid prototype, and has a lot of potential. I lol'd at the abrupt sacrifice. Took me a bit too long to realize I had to sacrifice cards, since I just jumped straight into the game without reading your page. I almost lost, but I realized my mistake in the end, sacrificed some cards and by the grace of my halo, I won! Good jam game!

Nice Animations and graphics

I really liked the animations, but they just take really really long. It takes about 20 seconds to go from your turn to your turn again, which got can add up fast. The mechanic is cool, but doesn't have too much depth. Besides that, good game.

Thanks for playing! Yeah I agree, I added extra time to try to make it less confusing what was happening, but I think I overshot the ideal. Also, I was hoping to add more cards to increase variety, but ran out of time. Oh well, that’s a game jam for you! Great feedback

This game's absolutely rad, dude. The art/animations are really smooth and pretty.  The music and other sounds fit well, and the game's mechanic is simple and catchy.  Love this.
