The lighting and environment looked great! Explore, expand and learn, I'm glad you had fun :)
I liked how the "phase of play" shifted between running away and hunting out the matching die
I liked this game. The scroll wheel to change die could have been a bit faster, I think. This jam was also the first time used godot to make a complete game as well :)
Short and sweet! Clean visual style. Scroll wheel is a bit annoying to use but I guess it got the job done. Interesting level design too at the end there. Hope you had fun playing around with Godot!
Nice mechanic. The scroll didn't work on every use, but I felt like it worked predictably, one out of every three times haha.
Cool visual style. Loved your take on the theme. Solid mechanics and good level design. I liked your secret messages. Scroll wheel was a little finicky sometimes. Would love to see this expanded with music, more level, more enemies, more dice types. Very impressive. Great job.
Cool take on the theme with solid presentation :)
Scroll-to-control is a bit brutal on a trackpad (maybe give a keyboard fall back?) but I still made it through so :D
Very clever! Enjoyed the game overall, and the mechanic feels precise :)
Simple but very fun to play! I had a good time, and it definitely manages to keep some level of difficulty. Could use some sounds though. Fun game, though! And cool to see another Godot dev!
The core mechanic was very unique and the style of the game was really cool. Nice Work!
Once you got that there were walls you could not shoot through this was a really joyful experience!
It even got some strategic elements, nice!
Cool game, simple but fun.
The difficulty of the game came mostly from the mouse scrolling not being responsive. Interesting concept nonetheless.
Yea, mouse scrolling did not match one par roll step on my mouse - more like 2½...
seems like difference mice can have different scrolling sensitivity which makes the scrolling in game choppy. Will research a bit and try to fix, thank you for the response :)
Fun little game ! nice entry and I think you nailed the atmosphere ! good stuff !!
thank you soo much :)
A fellow Godot Light2D enjoyer! Used those in my game as well, really adds to the polish. I liked the premise of only being able to shoot dice with the same number as you. The enemy dice could've used real pathfinding, but that's my only gripe. Good job
yep you’re right, pathfinding and better movement is something I should add
i love the concept and presentation, and the core gameplay is pretty fun! however, this game is kind of a pain to play on trackpad
The concept is basically the "this element hurts this type of enemy" you see in other videos games, but applied to dice.
Clever. 👍
I appreciate the idea, but choppy framerate and really low sensetivity on mouse scroll makes this hardly to enjoy.
Would love to see this game a bit more polished, with controls fixed and sounds added!
yes, will try to update the game after the jam :)
