Super cool concept and I love the art. The dice-flicking mechanic was pretty challenging to navigate with the mousepad, but it was super satisfying watching the powers activate once I got the hang of it. Including a score system that keeps track of how many enemies were killed may give the player a better sense of their progress in the game. Overall well done!

This is one of the best puzzle games I've played this jam. The requirement for net zero by the end of each roll in addition to the tiles breaking upon use provokes careful thought about how to move, as opposed to the 'guess and check until it works' strategy I've used in some other games. Ended up getting a pen and paper to work out the last one lol. Great work!

I liked how the levels gradually introduce new mechanics, and the later puzzles were pretty challenging. The game doesn't particularly involve rolling dice, but it's clever having the remaining moves represented on the player. Nice work!

Really enjoyed this twist on the golf game. The cubic "ball" was wonderfully awkward and it was fun adjusting each swing based on the given effect. Appreciated the scattered applause after my hole-in-15. Some parts of hole 9 were obscured by the windmill, but otherwise this is a very polished entry -- great work!

Super cool style -- love the aesthetic and having Gnargle watch your every move definitely added to the fun. Not being able to see adjacent faces of the die made it more challenging to solve some of the later levels, I usually find myself kinda guessing until it eventually works which seems to be common for this kind of puzzle. Maybe introducing a sort of "par" system would encourage players to solve each level with as few moves as possible. Overall a really polished game that was fun to play, nice work!

Really fun game! I enjoyed how you tie the theme into it -- having to choose between progressing the level and restocking powers made for some interesting decisions. That you can't heal adds to the challenge as well. The original art and music help make this a very polished entry -- great work!

Cool game! Really like the idea of different sides of the dice having different effects. At times I felt as though I was guessing where the enemies would go, but the inspect ability was really useful for planning the next move. Enjoyed the low-poly art style as well. Great work!

Love the style! Easy to pick up and the theme plays into the game well. Movement was a bit clunky at times (probably due to chains of up/downgrades) but I still had fun trying to escape the void. It would be cool if we knew at the beginning of each turn which property would be affected by the upcoming up/downgrade.  Great work!

(1 edit)

Super polished! The fight was engaging and the artwork added a lot to the experience. Since the theme was released I was looking forward to playing some cool RPG-type games and yours is among the top! Great work!

Controlling the camera was really smooth and it was fun retrieving the different objects. I enjoyed the music and characters as well. Some visual feedback on the right-click/task assignment might make it a bit easier to know where exactly you're sending the corralled beeples. Awesome job!

Fun game! Has a really polished feel and is easy to pick up. Nice music as well -- great work!

Nice work! I enjoyed the music and the puzzles were relaxing. Maybe adding the ability to rotate the die in-place would allow the player to strategize a bit more. Cool game!

Awesome game! Love the art style and the different kinds of enemies. Including a score (number of enemies killed/objectives completed) might help the player keep track of their progress throughout the game. Overall awesome work!

Super fun, awesome take on the theme -- great work!

Enjoyed discovering the effects of each type of die, and the reactions were satisfying to achieve. Smooth gameplay combined with fun music/sfx, overall polished game. Great work!

Mfw 6 gets you amazing dice

Nice work! The game's quite challenging. Not sure if it's intentional, but after I lost a few times, the die would only fire when landing on a 1

Nice work! Took me 306 rolls, gonna need to put some work in if I want to come close to your PB

Really pretty game! Cool puzzles and a very polished look. The camera configuration made the controls a bit confusing as some others have mentioned, but once you get used to it the game is quite relaxing. Great work!

Really like the idea of the die working against the human and the and the art style's great -- nice work!

Relaxing yet thoughtful puzzler and a unique take on the theme! I enjoyed coming up with different gameplans for each roll. Awesome job! My highscore's 824

Super creative use of theme, fun artwork and sound, and most importantly very enjoyable to play -- awesome job!

Cool game! Using the die as your weapon really adds to the chaos and I enjoyed the dystopian board game aesthetic -- great work!

Cool take on the tower defense game! Enjoyed the artwork and casino theme. Including a preview of each tower's range before placing them could make it a bit easier for the player to strategize. That being said it was quite satisfying watching a tableful of towers deal damage. Great work!

Great work! Puzzles reminded me of something I'd see in a Zelda dungeon and I enjoyed the peaceful music.

Cool game! Getting all 5 took me longer than I'd care to admit lol

Super polished game! The dice mechanic was fun to pick up, and it was satisfying watching the attacks take form (those villagers do not look like they're having a good time lmao). It would be interesting if the player knew which dice were coming next so they can more effectively strategize. Overall great job!

Nice work! Cool take on the theme and the fight was a nice challenge.

Nice work! Your game fits the theme of the jam well -- the 5-weapon was my favorite.

High score was 258

Great job! Really like the art style; the handwritten/cardboard aesthetic you've achieved looks awesome and plays into the game nicely.

Thanks! Went back to it later and managed to get 98 (forgot to screenshot the board before the timer ran out... in a future version maybe give the player a chance to see their board postgame?) Once again awesome job -- I was clearly drawn back to it after some time which is probably a good sign lol

Wow! As a fan of word games this is extremely clever -- having the goose move the tiles around creates some unique challenges, especially as the board fills up. I enjoyed the music as well as the art style (very baba-is-you-esque as others have noted; we tried to achieve something similar in our game), which helped keep it engaging. That you executed such a complete game in 48 hours makes it all the more impressive. Congrats on this accomplishment!

my score of 75

Really great work -- a clever interpretation of the theme! Love the animations, they really make the gameplay more engaging. Big fan of the emergent music as well. Overall a very neat, polished game. Definitely one of the best I've played so far!

Cool game and a very creative interpretation of the theme! The clean graphics and sfx added to the fun. Like others have mentioned it was a bit difficult to progress far into the game due to the strict time limit -- maybe a game mode without a timer would allow players to spend more time with the neat puzzles (alternatively, perhaps the timer counts upwards to score how fast you can solve a certain number of puzzles?) Overall well done, and congrats on the game!

Very clever! What seems like a simple mechanic lends itself to some difficult challenges.  Great work with what feels like a very polished game!

Great job! The quirky characters add a lot to the fun and the upbeat music helps too. Overall a cool, chill game.

This is a great game! The idea of creating problems while trying to solve them definitely adds to the chaos. I really enjoyed the visuals and music/sfx (as well as the... charming... backstory). Like others I had difficulty controlling the vehicles, but certainly a very fun experience nonetheless. Awesome work!

Wow nice catch! We never found that one. That's definitely something for us to look into... thanks for spending some time with our game!

The music is awesome and the crunchy graphics definitely add to the fun. I found the movement and shooting mechanics enjoyable and smooth. Enemy bullets were a bit difficult to detect leading to what felt like sudden or unexpected deaths (maybe multiple lives could extend the game a bit, unless this is level of difficulty is intended of course). Overall terrific work, thanks for the game!
