Nice game. Our game had a pretty similar concept where you could kill enemies with a cross-shaped attack and had to reach the goal. We also had a jump and shield ability as well as action points to limit how much you can do. We didn't have the cool effects like your game tho.

Nice puzzle, great use of the theme. I like the symbols they are stylish and self-explanatory, that's just the way they should be. I think if the enemies were showing where they go next, it would improve the game, it would remove randomness and resulted in more pure puzzle in my opinion. Because as for now in many cases you either risk losing(or quickly killing an enemy) or roll around aimlessly just waiting when the enemy randomly exposes itself to 100% death. I'm not sure what mechanic is best, but personally I'd be more inclined to play my version. The game Into the Breach is a good example of what I mean, monsters there are showing direction of their attack next move, it's the core mechanic of the game, and I really like that game. But maybe I'm wrong and here such mechanic is not needed, but I'd try :)

Thanks for the extended Feedback :D

What I think what would definitely help is deterministic enemies (get rid of all randomness). We wanted to go more for a strategy feeling rather than a puzzle experience. Therefore, I'm not sure about showing the enemy's next move. On the other hand, if it works well in Into the Breach, it might be worth a try. I guess this is just something you need to try out to know for sure :)

nice idea. I like that you can move by hold the button :)

Thenk you. Its always the simple things that could ruin an experience :)

As advertised, there's some really nice dice explosions :D
A puzzle game, but more of an action oriented one.
This is pretty unique and very enjoyable.
Would definitely love to play more of this, good game !

Cool game! I really enjoyed it <3

Great concept and execution!

The symbol design was very intuitive, so it was easy to remember which symbol did what.

I love the neon effects, though they're a bit bright.

Great work overall! Really like seeing submissions that take a creative approach to the design of the dice itself.

Very cool twist a classic formula, the way you implemented combat was very creative. Seems like you and I had similar ideas but executed them quite differently.

Damn.  Another game that implemented this idea way better than me T_T.  Absolutely phenomenal.  Showing the face that you're going to end up on on the tiles themselves is brilliant and eliminates so much guesswork.  I was playing and thought "if only enemies also showed what weapons they can use if they went to a specific tile" but then I moused over one and you thought of that too!

Amazing.  Thank you for this <3

I liked the fact that it isn't necessarily rolling something random, nice interpretation of the theme! The main gameplay remind of bomber man and I liked how it felt like a fast paced puzzle. Nice job.

I was very pleased to find a game that reminded me of Bomberman.

love the juice! this was definetly a popular idea but you put your own unique spin on it.

Do you know what, I don't think I've seen a jam game with effects until now, and they look good. Nice take on dice movement with the attacks and strategy!

Cool game! Really like the idea of different sides of the dice having different effects. At times I felt as though I was guessing where the enemies would go, but the inspect ability was really useful for planning the next move. Enjoyed the low-poly art style as well. Great work!

Unique idea for making the game fits the theme, its pretty enjoyable and not at the same time.  The effect idea looks cool but its crushing gpu and audio when everything went by fast pace. I guess it could be lesser effect to makes the game not really heavy

Really cool game, very enjoyable to play! In later levels, it might be nice to have a checkpoint-mechanism (or health) to avoid having to start all over again after every hit, which can become a bit tedious. But on the whole, very nice entry!

the mechanics were simple but it requires some strategy. good decision to show possible enemy actions. i was able to finish the game after a few tries (the range of the yellow die always catches me off guard). excellent overall!

That is a very nice game !

It took me a bit to realize that the enemies' faces determined whether or not they would explode, but that is because I'm a dummy :D
