For 48 hours, that was a pretty kewl game! I was confused to start off on how to actually engage with enemies but eventually figure out that there's a hitscan collision system and auto attacking for all characters within a certain range. I wonder what would happen if you had a character or ability to heal occasionally after a certain number of waves (like its a healer who rarely heals or a time-based healing ability).
The animations were great! The collision and my knight moving a million miles away was hilarious XD but I'm guessing that was a bug or a feature you plan on changing? If not, fair enough.
Great game buddo! Nice work :] !
Really fun game! Keep making games and do rate our game if you have time!

Really addicting game! Pretty well made.
Pretty fun once I realised I could attack rather than just run away haha. I used the enemy archer to kill the other starter enemy and then just ran for my life.
Nice job, as others have said it would have been nice to be able to choose a hero to spawn.
Very nice game! I like the visuals, very solid and appealing style. Sound desing is awesome, well-balanced and abundant. Idea is nice, simple but very ambitious. I feel like it lacks some mechanic to get more control over the guards, like being able to place them in fomation with mouse between waves, or give commands to gather or scatter, or something else. Now it's kinda possible with bumping into rocks, but it's certainly not intended. It feels important because cornering the enemy from different sides feels essential and powerful, but there's no much possibility to do so in a controllable way. Aside from that, I really enjoyed my time playing this game, great job!
Pretty cool game, but just like others have said, being able to choose a hero to spawn would've been nice.
Awh I love the cute style of the characters.
Amazing for only 48 hours! :) Very cool game you made there! Would be cool to have more options beside rally & defend. Like a choice on which hero you get, In these kind of games I personally like to go for more ranged options instead of the melee ones, and now it was random which is completely fine! :) since it's just for a gamejam!
Took me a moment to figure out what even I was supposed to do, but it pretty quickly made sense. I wish there were more options than “Rally & Defend”. I agree with another commenter that it would fun to be able to choose who you add, maybe between a couple of random choices each round.
I’m not sure how I felt about how easy it was to split up the party. It was useful at times, but at other times it happened accidentally and felt awkward.
Overall a fun little retro game!
Awesome game! Really enjoyed building my little army :)
Great little game for 48 hours! Obliviously if you had more time it would be flushed out but it's still solid! Great choice on art and music!
Pretty good game! The SFX and the music are well chosen for the frantic, fast-paced combat, and the art does a pretty good job as well. I think the lack of choice in the gameplay is my biggest criticism. Being able to, say, choose between different troops, change their formation, upgrade them, and even manually attack with them would've added some much-needed depth to the game. As-is, though, I still had a good time destroying the monsters and protecting the king, so good job!
Pretty tired as I'm writing this review, so sorry if I'm not suuuper thorough with my feedback.

What I liked
The game was pretty good, the overall concept of your party getting bigger as you survive more waves was nice, and the art character variety and enemy variety was great. I liked the main menu. I would recommend that you add a small sound effect when pressing the SFX slider as it would allow players to have come context on how loud the in game sounds are.
What I didn't like
Overall, the only option you really get are expand, rather than choices between party members, which would have been nice.
Overall Thoughts
A pretty nice game, with pretty good potential. <3
This game just got more fun as it went along. Love the retro vibes, but really loved just walking around getting my party into big scuffles. Nice work! :D
I didn't think there was much going on first, but then I figured out my character auto-attacks when I get close. Enjoyed seeing my little group getting larger and larger.
This is such a cool game with minimal controls. I really enjoyed it! I could not finish the game, although I don't know if there is an ending or not. Well done!
A great little game that you can definitely build on. It seems to me that to make it instantly more fun, you could have the option of collecting gold and then buying new warriors rather than them appearing randomly, but granted that requires a lot more content.
Fun game! I’m not sure if it was intentional or not but I liked being able to rearrange everyone by pushing against rocks, etc. to keep the king safe in between rounds. It felt like a weird version of chess almost. Also I’m not sure if I won or if there is a bug but the waves stopped after a while.
nice game!
i feel like its very hard to understand the difference between characters ( i only understood that archer is long range unit unlike everyone else). also its kinda hard to control everyone, some characters always accidentally hit rocks and it just feels like "big blob that damages enemies"
Fun little game.
