Quite a fun platformer. I like the mechanics and the sounds a lot.

However, personally, I think the controls is a bit off, the jumps feel too "slide-y" and I feel like small mistakes are punished too much, especially since this game seems to be made to be a precision platformer as well as a puzzler. Still, my compliments to you for making a pretty great game!

Ah, I replay the game and press T to check the slideshow. I managed to score one point so far lol. On first try I only checked out the written description so I didn't fully get it.

I feel like some design choices made the gameplay quite unwieldy, like the decision to make you not able to "jump" on the box after a certain size, making the "sizing pads" stationary and you have to push multiple boxes back and forth, or unable to interact with the cubes anymore if you push them into the corners. Nonetheless, good job for finishing it and submit anyway. I hope you consider continue working some more on this game to make it more fun.

Thank you for trying it out. Yes, I discovered a weird bug that only happens sometimes when you reload or change the level. I hope to update and add more content the game so I hope you will come try it again in the future.

Thank you for trying it out and commenting! I did take a lot of inspiration from Overcooked and similar games, so I'm glad you had fun with it!

This was very fun to play. Great sounds, arts and mechanics. If there was only only thing I might have wanted, it would have been that I would have liked to have had some of the more important controls like resetting the levels be given right at the start (I messed up the first level because I wasn't quite sure what it is all about yet and I didn't know how to reset it, so I had to restart the game). Also it could have been also nice to have like a pause menu where tutorials given so far can be reviewed. Nevertheless, this is a great game for a game jam submission!

Wow! Great game, top notch arts, feels, polish and mechanics. 15 stars from me. But if there is only one gripe I have with it is that it's not challenging enough as a puzzler. But I'm sure if there were more time, the team could have come up with harder levels. Great job!

Fun music, but I wasn't quite sure of the goal of the game or how I can score points.

Funny little weird game, I had fun, but like some other people have already point out, I wish you had calibrate the volume of that 3,2,1 GO at the start.

Cute game and arts! Perhaps it gets somewhat boring without more incentives, but great job for a game jam nonetheless.

Thank you for trying it out! A consistent feedback I have gotten is that the game is a bit too hard to read at first, so I will try to makes my games easier to read in the future.

Thank you for playing and commenting! I have a hobby in real life coffees, and the first idea I wanted to implement was to make the game just all coffees, but then I found it would be too hard to read and differentiate between the different kinds of coffees and drinks.

I’m glad you have enjoyed it :D

Thank you for playing and commenting! Yes, a lot of inspiration was taken from Overcooked, but I tried to put some of my own twist on it.

It’s true that during my own playtest I found the first few levels were a bit more boring. The level duration was balanced around the final level with a lot more to juggle, but thanks for enjoying nonetheless.

Thank you so much for giving it another shot!

I am incredibly grateful for all the positivity I have received so far on this game, despite its apparent incompleteness and my inexperience as a game dev. All the amazing games I have tried and seen on Mark’s streams gave me a serious case of imposter syndrome, but I am humble to have been given the same kind of support as those amazing devs.

Thank you for playing!

I’m glad you enjoyed the game despite its performance. I will try to optimize the game better in the future.

Cute game, good art and good music! I do feel like it a bit too punishing however, and it's not clear to me what objects I can interact with or how exactly to proceed from time to time.

Relaxing music, fun art style. But honestly it feels like either that this is just a very small part of a larger game, or just an incomplete vision overall. I would love to have seen more incentive to engage in the main gameplay, some sort of time limit or even simple score keeping would already make this much closer to a game.

Cute game, but tbh I couldn't get over how awkward the controls feel overall.

Interesting take on the theme. Could use a bit more polish I think.

Beautiful style! Interesting concept. I think the background shape could use a little bit more contrast to the actual blocks to make it easier to plan though. Also there seems to be a bug when I select a piece and as soon as it enter the building area, if it overlaps a lot with another piece, I cannot change either one to fix it.

I checked out your game, coming from the comment you left on my submission where you said mine was much more polished than yours, which I found to be not true at all! I think yours are pretty well polished as well, and fun to play. However, for this type of Survivor-esque game, having such a slow speed on your character and enemies make the game feel a bit sluggish imo. A faster gameplay could have been more exciting, but that's just my opinion!

Thank you for you comments! I did try to polish it as much as I can, but it did cost me to not having been able to add as much content as I had originally planned. But I'm still glad people have been able to enjoy it for what it is!

Great game! Awesome art, very well polished overall. However I do feel like it's a bit too repetitive after a short time, given that the gameplay is also quite easy. Having a secondary objective could make it more engaging, but it may have not been feasible within a game jam time frame :D Having said all that I still play to the end to catch the biggest fish lol XD

Fun game, quite challenging. Reminds me a lot of old school Age of Empire games, which I used to love playing!

Nice game, well polished! I like the art and the sounds very much. It's impressive for a 4 day development time. However, I feel like it has a bit of a unpolished game loop, like I'm not sure how to get the most out of each dime I spend buying ammos, like it's not clear to me how I can get better at this game or how to further proceed (getting higher score or getting to the better upgrades). Like if I don't get enough money to buy more ammo when I leave the dungeon, the only other course of action is to... give up?

Thank you for playing and commenting! Yes it's no secret that I used Kenney assets in this game, but I did make the player character, all the swords and their animations myself, in the style of the assets. I have still got a long way to go as an artist but I hope to continue practicing and get better in the future.

If you have time, you can actually try another submission I submitted for the jam called Coffee Conveyor. I made all the assets in this game myself and it's nowhere as good-looking as Kenney's lol.

Thank you! That was certainly the plan. I had hoped to include more platforming challenges based on the shortening-lengthening of the sword, but I ran out of time before the jam ended. I hope to update the game in the future.

Thank you! Most of the art are from free assets from Kenney.nl so I can't take any credits for that. However, I did make the character and weapon and the animations for them myself. I tried to match the styles of the assets, but I have a long way to go as an artist.

Thank you for playing! I hope to update the game with more content in the future.

Thank you! I had hoped to make other platforming challenges based on the shortening-lengthening mechanics but I wasn't able to finish in time to submit for the jam. I hope to update the game in the future!

Thank you for playing and commenting! When you get to the first checkpoint, a level complete sfx plays but it is too quiet compared to the background music. The second level only loads after the sfx finishes, which takes around 2 seconds I think.

It's a really big oversight because I added the music in as the last step to before I submit and didn't test it again 😭 Hope you find time to give it another shot.

Lol I think as devs we all forget from time to time that we are the only ones who have played our games so far, so don't be too hard on yourself about it.

And btw now that I just think about it again, perhaps a twin stick shooter-esque type of control scheme would be appropriate for your project. You could look at how those are implemented in those games that are also released to PC.

That and also just the fact that I didn’t even know where the diamond I needed to interact with to begin with and it took me some time to figure it out lol.

Perhaps not entirely a bug but when I “scale up” the “dragon” (which is just some round object?) just seems to disappear and I didn’t know where I was shooting at. Perhaps it’s just a perspective thing and I wasn’t able to wrap my head around the game in the short time I spent with it.

I had read before that controlling a (real) tank is difficult and really awkward, so in a sense it’s historically accurate lol. But accuracy doesn’t always make for good gameplay I suppose, so it’s something to work on in the future.

I think for the building part it would be more understandable if there was like templates players could choose from (instead of all random), then once they get the feeling of each templates they could modify their own version.

Thank you tor your feedback! I hope to update the art in the future to make everything more readable.

I considered upping the difficulty of the game (making multitasking more viable) but I was afraid it would be too difficult for most players. If you had played till the last level I think it was decently challenging though!

Interesting theme, but I think the learning curve is too hard. I couldn't get past the 2nd level, as I wasn't quite sure what to do. Also it took me a really long time to understand what you mean by the instructions to get past the first level (particularly with the diamond node thing).

Not sure what I did wrong or didn't quite understand the instruction, but I couldn't get past the first fruit.

I like the idea, but I think the controls are a bit too wonky. The building part is a bit too obscure, I didn't quite know what to change sometimes to make it eligible.

Interesting take on the theme. I like the king kong art a lot lol
