Thanks!! I appreciate your feedback, it will be taken into account!

Hi! I really appreciate your feedback! This kind of comment gives me the strength to keep going and develop the full game, which of course we are going to do. Ty!!

I'm glad you liked it! Thank you for your comment. I will rate your game, np

Thanks Matt! I like seeing projects done in Unreal too. I worked hard to optimize it so it could run on everyone's computers. I think that's my biggest takeaway from this jam.

I'd give the UI and aiming system design a second look, I know it needs a proper balance.

Thank you! I'll take that on consideration

It's a fun game. The concept of the top is good, but I think it could have a better approach. Why does this character need to hit the top with a sword instead of attacking the enemy alone? First of all, I would say that it's a team of two. With this in mind, the top could have a personality. So each one needs the other and justifies the fact that both are needed to defeat the enemies.

Good game in general. Remainds me to space invaders. The bosses could have different designs for each one

I can't play it either

The controls are fine. As for the visuals, the background and platforms are pretty much the same color, so it gets confusing. The colliders could be better, most of the time the box seems to be flying. As for the boss, what is the mechanic to defeat him? I just go back to the door and I won. Good job on the effort, but it needs better game design

It's an interesting game. I think the alignment of the planets could have a better approach because after a while it gets repetitive. The atmosphere is good, it just needs more action, so to speak

Thanks!! I'll make note of the distance and damage, because other people felt the same way about this.

(1 edit)

Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it

Thanks for your comment! I'll take note of these things

Thanks! I'll take note of the movement. I actually thought about slowing down his movement based on his size, but I completely forgot about that at the end haha

One of the best games. Good job! Its sooo cuphead

The art is cool!

Good job! Nice game

Very fun game. I have a good time playing it. With some polish and if you add more bosses this can be a good game. Great job!

A great game

I also made my game using Unreal Engine. I know from a comment below that you are new to the engine. Still, I recommend you think, why does this game need to be made using Unreal Engine 5? (I made mine using 4). I think the goal of the new version of the engine is high-end PC and cinematic visuals. Is that also the goal of your game? If not, why are you using Unreal Engine 5? I tell you this because the game runs at 10 FPS on my machine, and that would be the case for most of the players in this jam. Both games, mine and yours, look practically the same, but the difference in performance is huge. And that's not because of you, but because of the engine. Think about it! Keep up the good work!

Good game in general

Ok, I didn't think I would get this far, but I did, haha, I like the concept of the game. Anyway, if it's a music game, why don't the arrows have musical sounds? That should be the key.

I agree with JollymanOG commentary. You have something here, need more polish but I hope you can find the way. Keep up the good work!

The art is cool. I found it too difficult

It's a fun game. The random boss generator is nice because it allows for replayability. However, it's a difficult game. Perhaps the movement should be smoother so it's easier to avoid attacks. Good job anyway! Keep working or the optimization!

A game that benefits from its art style. With improvements to the gameplay feel, it could be a very fun game

Hey, very cool art style. The game is sooo short! haha good job anyway. Keep working on it

Thank you for your comment! I actually did rated your game yesterday. It is very funny. God job! Why do you think this game inspires you to make 3d games, as you said?

I love the style! Good job!

Amazing game! Very very fun to play

I love the style! I didn't quite understand the mechanics of the slot. Still, it could be a nice game with a bit of refinement.

I really like the style. The only character I found useful was the middle one, the one with the gun. With the others I found too difficult to actually defeat the bosses. I love the boss designs anyway. What is the purpose of the cockroach jump? And why does jumping have a cooldown?

I think the spin movement is a nice mechanic. It would be nice if players had the opportunity to dodge enemy lasers in some way. For example, without taking damage when turning or something.

Interesting game! I like the player movement and the 2d style. The player takes a lot of damage from the boss and it's too difficult to beat him. Also, I think the gameplay feel would be better if the character didn't freeze when the enemy hits you.. Good job anyway!

Yes! I was referring to the loss of stamina. I mean, I think it decreases too quickly. That's my opinion anyway!

An Amanita Design fan over here it seems. The visuals are beautiful. I don't agree with the flying limitation mechanic, if the game is about flying (you are a bird), why do you need to punish the player to actually do this? Maybe with some improvements in the controls you can have a great game

I love the art! Very fun game to play. I think the controls could be smoother. Nice job anyway!

I don't understand how to play. Also the game run at very slow fps on my PC, almots imposible to play. It would be nice if you add graphics settings or think on optimization methods

It was a fun game, I think it would be nice if you can attack while moving or jumping. The spin ability doesn't seems to work also

Very nice game! Good job
