Game's Take on the Theme
The main character fights and evades by using Spin, making use of the movement of the universal logarithmic spiral, becoming faster and stronger each time.

Yes, all art and code was done by me, I only used free and commercial use music and sounds.

Very nice, love the graphic style and the first boss was fun, the second boss however I couldn't figure out how to hurt her? XD probably a skill issue on my part, but overall great looking game :D

Using a logarithmic spin as the character's main attack and dodge is SO cool. Having to do a full rotation to hit the bosses, but doing it at a limit so you don't fall off makes for a really interesting flow of combat. Being able to just stop the rotation at any time and landing back down is also some wonderful quality of life. The presentation and narrative was super cute and really brought it all together!
My math teacher at school was also my programming teacher, he told me that one day math would be useful for something in this world, this is what he was referring to xD I'm glad you liked it:D
I liked the design of the MC and the bosses, they were just so adorable. The way we can spin and crash or just get dizzy is a cute touch. Elodie's face when she falls is pretty silly. If you wish to expand it, it could definitely use some debugging after dying the first three times I respawned with 0 starts and was immortal. That and some more gameplay would work wonders, since we can fall maybe a stage could be made where we have to sort of plan how we spin to avoid falling between the platforms and so on.
But good game!
Oh s, I think I definitely forgot to reset the lives to 3 at the start of each level, or well, no. Actually the lives are global, so it would only be at the start of the training xD hose are good ideas, although I'm never sure if I should take my JAM projects seriously, I really liked this one.Thank you for your comment, it is greatly appreciated:)

Thanks! I had problems with the controls, but I realized that it is more comfortable to play on Android because of the joystick instead of the WASD. But I didn't have enough time to add gamepad compatibility. Anyway, thanks for your comment:)

I like the character and the bosses, but I still feel the pace is slow in the game and I would love to see more action. To show off this girl's spin attack.
Because of the time of the JAM I had to keep it simple, I would have also liked to give it more action. Thanks for the comment!
Really like the art style, the spin dash and attack have very cute graphics, I couldn’t figure out how to kill the second boss but I had fun trying
Sorry, time didn't give me the opportunity to implement Ollie as a combat commentator, he would explain to you that you should make Lamia dizzy when spinning.Currently he only says it in his dialogue before the boss, that's why I row that the word 'dizzy'. I understand that it was not very intuitive.
pretty neat mechanic with a lot of potential. the second boss shows some pretty creative ways in which the spin could be integrated into the design of the game.

Good game all around! Nice art, good use of the theme, and the controls felt nice once you got used to them.
i mengaed to go out of map few times with dash hahaha i dont know if not having cld on attack and dash was inntended at this point but i could just spam K while fighting with 2nd boss kinda throwing away use of spining around map. Overall funny game may be a bit too easy first boss gived me good impresion
It wasn't my intention, I just came up with a way to take advantage of the idea with the first boss and from there I didn't know what else to do xD So yes, the best way to fight the second boss is to spam, because even though I put a lot of damage into the third stage of the spin it is difficult to hit.
