Using a gun to jump isn't a mechanic you see a lot in games but it's one I love every time I try it out haha. I actually very seriously considered a similar mechanic so I'm glad someone did it! Great job!
Moving around with the cannon is really fun and having a machine gun as well is pretty cool although I think holding the button down to fire would feel a bit better and it could look cool if it was minigun with more bullets. The levels are great and I like that you expanded the challenges with achievements. Great game!
The rocket gameplay was great, but honestly the secondary fire felt a bit odd as the first bullet always hits the mouse's spot, so why have some random spread shotgun shot? Sometimes the mouse felt a bit buggy as the force circle refused to update and sometimes it felt like it was inverse.
UNDERRATED GAME!
WELL DONE MY FRIEND! :D
all though I though the second level "wall climb" side to side was a bit challenging. :P
Fun mechanics that fit the task well. Took me a long time to make it through because I was terrible at it. Great work!
Man, I LOVED playing this on stream. One of the most unique games I have seen from the jam this year. I really think you're onto something special with this.
I think I mentioned the enemies can see through the walls. Once they player is in LoS/in range, they immediately shoot. Made certain parts a little challenging.
That one aside, though, this is so fun. One of my faves so far. Cheers!
Thanks again for playing! I'm glad you had such a good time with it. You made some really good points on stream, and if I revisit this game in the future, I'll definitely be making some adjustments.
DESTRUCTION! Well made mechanics and polished nicely too!
I had fun destroying enemies and jumping around with that explosion. Good job!
Easily one of the best titles in the jam. I love the two different mechanics. But just like in Team Fortress, I am terrible at rocket jumping. It's a clever way to get around, but Jumping off the walls is so hard for me. I wish there was an easy mode. Still, I thought this was original and fun. Well done.
Thanks for the comment! The one piece of feedback I've repeatedly gotten is how difficult the controller is at first, so an easy mode is a great idea! I'm glad you appreciate the title too, lol
Really like the "shooting for traversal mechanic". It was kinda hard to get to grips with but once you get it down it's fun. Good work!
Cool concept, using the shooting for traversal as well! Once i got the hang of how to control my movement it was fun! Nice job!
Novel game concept!
Feels like the type of platforming that could become an easy cult classic!
