Rated! Very nice game

I really like how you played with the color palette and the backgrounds, everything is so well thought out. I had a lot of fun playing :))

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I´ll try to balance them a little better in my next game, thank you for the feedback :)

I was really into the game while I was playing it, HAHA it was a lot of fun!

HAHAHA thanks so much for all the feedback! You described the pros and cons of my game perfectly, I don’t think I could’ve put it better myself. I know the game can feel repetitive after many days, and therefore a bit boring. I feel like it loses its charm around day 20, as you get used to the enemies and the strategy becomes quite dull, like you said—'surround diamonds with walls.' But that’s why everyone has the choice to keep playing or not, depending on how much fun they’re having. Maybe by adding more content and mechanics, I could expand the game and keep it interesting, but for a Game Jam, I don’t think it’s as necessary, since most people will likely play until day 5-10 anyway, haha. Still, thanks so much for all the feedback, and I’ll keep improving for my future games! :))

PS: I’ve never made it to day 70 myself, HAHA, my max was 40 and my computer couldn’t handle the game anymore

I really felt like i was playing celeste, pretty hard. My hands were swaety haha

It makes me so happy that you enjoyed it :))). You really pushed the game to its limits, HAHA—I didn’t think anyone would get to the point where it became unplayable! I tried optimizing it as much as I could to let players get further. You’re absolutely right about everything you mentioned. If I’d had more time, I probably could’ve balanced it better. But hearing all this really makes my day!

After you sent me this feedback, I played the game again, and you’re right—I might have gone overboard with the difficulty. It wasn’t the experience I wanted for my players. I think I just got used to it, so it didn’t seem hard at the time. I’ve now tweaked it to be a more relaxed experience, which was my original goal. Also took the chance to fix a few bugs while I was at it... Thanks!

You successfully improved Space Invaders:)) I absolutely loved the game! Maybe if you could rotate the Tetris pieces, it would add more depth to upgrading skills, as you'd have to figure out the most effective way to place them. Also, slightly increasing the speed at the start of the game and reducing the speed boost from upgrades might work better. I really enjoyed it! The last level took me a few tries, but I had a blast finishing it.

HAHA I love long feedbacks, thanks for mentioning all of this! It’s true, you can complete the game without cheesing too much, but I admit you have to be very precise, and it can get frustrating to lose after a while. That’s why I left some simple mechanics in place to ease the tedium. For example, in the early levels, you can sell and place walls repeatedly to fully restore their health. Also, the triangle-shaped ships have more health than the walls and cost less—I added them to help players in the early game, though I admit they’re not that useful later on. Upgraded turrets only refund the cost of one turret, so it’s better not to upgrade them unless you’ve set up a solid system. I found it’s often more effective to place three separate turrets than one upgraded one, though three take up much more space. Thanks again for pointing out all these details, and I’m so glad you enjoyed the game! :)))

Really like playing the game!! My hands are sweaty of how many times I tried to complete the levels haha

I really loved the game, I feel like it has a ton of potential!

I think I might be a detective haha. Got the storm in my first try, just after the truck driver got killed. I really enjoyed playing it!

HAHAHA no way!! Thanks for the letting me know about the bug .  Appreciate it

Loved taking down those enemies >:D. But it was a bit too easy for me maybe adding more of a challenge would make it even better! One idea could be having weapons that do more damage but slow you down, so the player has to choose wisely for each situation. Also, adding some kind of reward for visiting specific spots on the map would encourage more strategic movement. I felt like I was just wandering around a bit, haha. Overall, though, I really enjoyed playing!

I really liked the perspective you took on the theme, super original. Maybe bump up the difficulty a bit? Not sure, but I had a great time playing!

I really enjoyed playing it! I have a feeling you might like my game too—it’s somewhat similar to yours, though I’m not sure what the genre is called. I wish I had thought of making the enemies bigger in my game, haha!

Just for the tutorial you deserve to win haha

The only bad thing about this game is the amount of levels haha. Had a lot of fun playing it :)

I really like this type of puzzle game, had fun playing it!

Had a lot of fun playing it!! My personal best is 4:29 xD. I really liked that when you fell, it didn’t punish you too much instead, it helped you keep climbing on your own!

Really want to play this with somebody :,)

Super easy to understand what to do, and the art is really lovely! Maybe if the map were bigger it could be even more interesting? Either way, I really enjoyed everything!

Glad to hearr :D

Thanks for playing it!

Have a lot of fun playing it! First one that I`ve played all the way trough haha

I can't see anything in the cave where you can mine, maybe you could add some natural light? Had fun though!

Great for passing the time and getting a little distraction! :)

Loved the visuals!

I can really see the hard work put into this game, there are so many little details like the cake spoiling as the days go by, the house getting messier, and the piñata. I really enjoyed it!

HAHAHAH loved it.

The atmosphere is incredible—super fun and visually stunning!

The art is fantastic, the shader effects are on point, and the music fits perfectly. There wasn’t a ton of content, but it was such a unique and enjoyable experience.

I liked the graphics and the idea! Maybe adding some purpose to the planting mechanic would help—it felt like I was just planting seeds because that’s what the game was about, not because I wanted to. A reward for all my hard work would be awesome! But overall, I had fun playing.

I really enjoyed the game, the calm and chaos phase dynamic is awesome! I think this type of game has a lot of potential. If you improve the music and graphics, it could go far!

The game is really easy to get the hang of, and the enemies feel well-balanced. I’d love it if the melee defenses had a bit more range and a shorter cooldown for attacks, or maybe an animation to show when they’re ready to strike. Overall, I really enjoyed it!

I love the graphics and music, great short game!

Hey, awesome game! Super original, I’ve never played something quite like it before. One thing that might make it even better is adding textures or icons to the buttons so you can easily tell what each switch does without having to hover over them. That way, it’s a bit quicker to find the one you need. Just a thought!

Thanks! I'll make sure to play your game :))
