Pretty cool game! Looks like it was designed to be for mobiles? Barely have seen vertical ones like this :) I think you could add some subtle sounds and maybe feedback when enemies get damaged - right now they silently disappear. Great work!

Good game! A bit slow at the beginning but then very intense! I think by improving the difficulty curve, it could go from being a good game to an excellent one! Congratulations!
Thank you, it will come in an update. The enemies will getting harder to defeat and it will be possible to build satellite turrets which shoot from alone at the enemies.
Mechanic is clean and working, and had I fun playing your game - nice job on this!

Fun tower defender game! The music backing track was really lovely to listen to. I liked when the units started getting more challenging like the orange guys that moved faster and took more hits to take out. As some reviewers already mentioned, it would be nice for the intensity of wave 21 to start earlier but I see how mentioned adding a wave timer adjustment in a later version. Also, with the screen ratio it looks like this could be a mobile game eventually? I think it would be really fun to play on mobile if you add upgrades.

Thanks for the feedback. The next version is better, one of the upgrades is that you can click on the wave-timer and the next wave is starting. so no waiting^^. i will look into the mobile version as well. need to learn about the inputs on mobile and how to best work with it.

The game is nice, it needs to be expanded a bit, perhaps by adding boosts after each wave. At the beginning it's too slow since there are too many waves with a single enemy, but later it becomes very fun when more enemies start appearing together and each enemy has a different level of resistance and speed. But I didn't really understand if I had to defend the turret or the street that was behind the turret. It takes a little background. Overall it's a lot of fun but could be improved.
P.S. I love the music you used, it takes me back to the games I played as a child ^^
Thank you for playing and posting feedback. Time run out, so i focused on get it playable. I will add all the upgrades in the next versions. The Waves are really too long in the first 20 waves. i wanted to introduce each unity for themself. like you said, they have different attacks, armor, speed and so on. With wave 21 the real game starts. In one of the next upgrade i hope to integrate that the player can choose the time between the waves and when click on the wave-timer the next wave starts.

I would have liked more mechanics, like power up or bonus.

Simple, smooth game play. The starting ramp up before the first wave ends might be a bit long. At first i had thought that projectiles not disappearing when hitting the borders was a bug, but its not. The aesthetics of yellow orbs over navy blue bg was a nice match!

thank you. the enemy could spawn outside of the borders, that's why i thought it's best the player could shoot there as well.
Liked how you gave background for the story. Gameplay is pretty smooth; maybe a bit slow build up at the start. Upgrades would be a nice addition but other than that I liked it. Congratz on the submission; was also my first entry, had a lot of fun!

The image for the game is very nicely done! From reading the comments you ran out of time for the upgrades and the monies. I know how that goes! Game play was a little slow in the beginning to where I nearly quit. I then experimented letting ppl past and shooting them in the back as they got stuck there. Id recommend adding sound effects and a little UI feedback of player status. I fullscreened the game and could shoot off to the side, use the full resolution for the game

I wasn't sure I could die... I stopped playing and two or three enemies spawned and kept shooting me and I finally game overed. Like some other people have said some more difficulty would make the game better.
Also is there a purpose for the money? I'm thinking upgrades?

Yes, the money will be for the upgrades of the tower. I couldn't implement it in time. When i saw that the time was running faster and faster to the deadline , i set my goal to submit a playable game and then upgrade it after the jam.

The game looks good, but I expected more from the cover. However, the hordes are simple and easy. A bit more difficulty would make it better. Good job!
