It's a simple concept but it works and is fun, my only problem is that sometimes the camera feels too close and prevents me from seeing ahead, so the reaction time is very short.

But despite that, the art is very well done, and the music too. I was left wanting to see more levels.

Great work! :D

Flappy Birds meets Mario ... very cool submission, awesome little game, enjoyed checking it out, tho I must admit the difficulty was a bit high for me. Lovely 8-bit music, too!

This was fun! I liked how simple the controls were and the mechanics were very straight forward. That being said... I got stuck on the tutorial for a minute or two before realizing you could double jump. I honestly think I took more time on that than any of the other three levels 😭. I like teaching players controls & mechanics implicitly though, so kinda just a me issue. Other than that hiccup this game was a blast!

Wow I just love the concept of a one-button speedrunning game, this was a lot of fun. I think the biggest thing missing would be a cool parallax background and this game would be muah beautiful. I also just realized  that you're Heartbeast lol hi, you're videos were really useful for me when i started out, glad to see you in this jam!

Lots of fun! I finished the whole game; The final level was really fun once I got the hang of it. Like lots of other people, I struggled with the ice blocks on level 3, but I kind of just kept playing until I made it through.

Fun and simple mechanic . But breaking platforms force me to give up, can`t manage safe landing.

Hi heartbeast! Love this submission. I loved the little penguin animations when he jumps and lands, nice touch. I also really love the cold gauge mechanic, I thought that was clever.

Nice game! The second level is satisfying but I got stuck on the third one, it looks like the ice platforms break if you land with a high vertical velocity, but I couldn't manage to master this mechanic of landing on them more "horizontally". Kinda reminds me of the old "Yeti sports" flash games

Fun, simple, and cute!

Pretty fun game and also pretty challenging! The controls feel pretty good and the art works really well for what it is. Would love to see some background art though to elevate it further.

I got frustrated in the third level by the ice platforms seemingly breaking at random, which means some playthroughs seem nye impossible to complete, and you can't really plan for them. I think this feels unfair more than challenging. Some indication of which platforms will break, like cracked ice graphics, would be good, and I definitely wouldn't randomly switch out which ones will break and which ones will.

I like a new take on platforming and the art is fun. But I feel like it's a bit too challenging trying to manage freeze meter and platforming at the same time.

Can't rate it because I haven't entered, but this is what I wrote on the game's page:

Nice little game, cute artwork, too. I kind of like the squashing and stretching animation, despite it being an uncommon choice for a pixel-art game. I think this has a lot of potential if it had a lot of levels, maybe a level editor. It reminds me of precision platformer games, especially with the difficulty of that 4th level, it was quite fun, despite being called 'rage level'. Reminds me of old-school flash games!
