The experienced group hasn't finished the adventure yet (they are about to head out from the tavern after spending a night there). The other group did not have time to leave the forest so i wrapped it up in a montage after they snatched some orbs.

With that in mind, both groups went to Old Ford -> Tavern, then the newcomers went to Secret Well -> Temple.

Another caveat here is that, based on the expected nights-spent-in-forest in the text, I had to prepare travel times which I would be using consistently so my players can plan. I decided that there would be 4 times of day (morning, midday, afternoon, evening), and travelling to a nearby location would automatically advance the time of day (as well as other meaningful activities like resting). This meant that the shortest route would take the party to the temple on the night before the equinox (assuming the players spent their first evening with a rest).

I played this with 2 groups, one is full of experienced players, and the other was complete newcomers to RPGs. Everyone had a great time with both Cairn and this adventure.

I wasn't prepared enough to make use of the religious flavourings unfortunately, so I played up the forest as much as I could through improv. The highlight is easily the tavern for me, I managed to play the thing in a very unnerving manner, and nobody dared to open the door!

A pretty solid zelda-like game, I enjoyed it a lot! The story is pretty interesting too. I hope you get the time to finish it!

Awesome choice of colors, and the controls felt really good too. I wasn't sure if it's possible to avoid damage or not, so I didn't get too far.

Nice little game, super cute too. I was a bit lost with where to go with the chicken, but other than that it was pretty straightforward. The music is very relaxing!

A pretty simple game, I managed to do a perfect run on my first go, so I'm pretty happy about that. The fire effect kept me satisfied all the way till the end!

Nice graphics!! I really like the limited palette!

Thanks for playing! Nope, but a friend of mine did.

Wow you managed to squeeze in a ton of UI elements! There is a lot of going on, and it took me a while to get the hang of it, but I really enjoyed it! The metallic base tileset is probably my favorite, but I love the variety too.

Pretty good game! Slick animations all around, I love the mushrooms especially! It's a bit easy to get lost from time to time, but no complaints otherwise.

Sweet game! Managed to finish it after some trial and error. Some things were a bit confusing, like what the "armor" does, and at first I thought that some cave tiles were health pickups. And nice job on the tutorial.

Interesting game! It's a shame it does not fit the jam rules by having a larger resolution.

Great idea to combine snake with puzzle elements, and nice work on the particles! Unfortunately I got to see my snake crash a lot into walls. :D

I like interactive narratives, so I went ahead and declined 3 calls for fun, and I got pretty much what I expected lol. I don't entirely know what it means for a camel to be guilty in this game, but I guess it doesn't really matter much.

An interesting little experience, but I don't know what a chakra is.

I really really like the spritework here, they are super tiny, but look very 3 dimensional somehow, like a circuit board perhaps. The game was a bit too easy for me though.

Nice pong game, congrats on the engine, is it pure javascript or something else?

Cute game! I traded bannana for pot :DDD

Finished it quick, but it was fun to discover what new mechanic is required in each stage. The palette is wonderful and cute.

Haha pretty fun game, nice job! I love the music.

The gameplay is a but too repetitive, and the enemies can quickly get out of hand. It was fun though!

Very fun game, and very good looking plants!! A bit too fast for me to follow what I need to plant.

Nice for an early concept, I really like rogue inspired experiences, the tileset was pretty!

Greaet art, but unfortunately the game was too buggy for me. There were frequent hit registration problems, and I just did not find a valid use for throwing the sword because it's really hard to get behind enemies to retrieve it.

The arcade joystick was a fun addition to make it feel like an actual arcade game! Shame you couldn't finish it.

I like the scrolling POV you made, nice solution to overcoming the resolution.

Nice little clicker game. The loop mechanic was a bit frustrating to figure out though. Also, I loooove that spinning cube in the buy menu!

Awesome game! Captures the essence of being a cat. Kinda wish you could DESTROY the curtains. The physics on the objects is fun to play around with.

I love that cute as hell turtle.

I managed to score 6814! I don't know what the criteria was for getting multiple pinballs, but it was fun to have a bunch of them bounce around. Nice trail effects too!

Unfortunately I did not understand how to mark evidence on the journal. I liked walking around the hallways, waiting for something to jump at me though!

The gameplay would be pretty nice, but unfortunately there are some bugs that make it kinda tedious. The dialogue was comedic, not sure if it was intentional or not, I think having just 2 or 3 words appear at a time makes the pacing of it kinda funny.

I really love the music! Graphics are nice too! I like how you communicated information to the player.

Cute little game, it was fun to solve the puzzles presented. My biggest gripe was with the UI, I felt like there was a bit too much unnecessary busy work (such as scrolling past seeds which I don't even have).

Fun little game, looking forward to what you have in mind for the future!

You managed to squeeze in a lot, the cutscene at the start is very cute.

The graphics had me in awe, great music too. Very atmospheric piece of work for sure! It makes you forget you are playing on such a low resolution too.

Great use of various graphics techniques inside PICO8, I'm super jealous. I really like how the solar atlas is integrated with the gameplay, and you lose connection to it. Great use of sounds too!

Very cute game! I kept slashing randomly at one point because the dodge animation is just wonderful. The sound effects are also very relaxing.
