Game's Take on the Theme
If you stop spinning, you die ! If you don't spin you can't move ! Hold your corporated left-mouse button to spin ! But beware. Centrifugal force will throw you into our corporates walls, The faster you spin, the harder to aim your dash ! The slower you spin, the closer is death !

Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?

THE ANIMATIONS ARE AMAZING!

I think I've seen this game before. I like the theme, the art and the music. Gameplay is confusing as I was restarting way too often. With more polish this can become something great.

I really like the art and animation! The take on the theme is great too! I don't think that I understood the gameplay very well though

The animation is really funny and cartoonish, I like this the most, the visuals are really good and the mechanics are fun, I like every aspect really, I rate graphics, music, control and fun the most, but all is great, also, if you have some time, please rate my game too, thanks!!

This is a game after my own heart, everything about it is the kind of lightly morbid absurdity that I just adore and can't get enough of. Everything about it just speaks to me, I can't say enough good things about it. The unique means of control, the hilarious way the game contextualizes all of them, the game feel, the different unique bosses, the pinball feel, I just loved all of it. Wonderfully creative and inventive, amazing job!

a preatty cool game, but I must admit I was a bit confused ona a few parts on what to do but the visual are awsame and the implementation of the theme was on point

The art is really cool and i like the concept, good job!

Awesome game overall! Visuals are very polished, loved the animations and VFX. Sound is great too. Very interesting use of the jam's theme! Good job :)

Really fun and polished entry, fantastic take on the theme. I really liked the art direction you chose to go in, reminds me a lot of the early flash games. Solid game, good job!

Super polished and fun. Only thing that seemed off was the first boss adds would just run into the boss if I was on the other side. But I doubt trying to setup pathfinding was on your priority list for the jam. But really cool game overall.

Developer

Thank you very much!

But yes it wasn’t on our priority list xD, maybe we’ll change it later!

Wooahhh this game is incredibly cool!!! All the art and animations are charmingly unique, it has its own charm and an intriguing artstyle, and the bossfights are hilarious! I had lots of fun defeating the various bosses, I liked that each one had a different strategy to be defeated, and the mechanics were explained well enough that I mostly knew from the start what to do. That said, there are still some things that I've noted during the playthrough:

- At the start of the first boss, I didn't know what to do exactly, I knew there were the bouncy things I could've used to accumulate speed but I didn't figure out you were supposed to use them to hit the brick until some time later (at first I thought you were supposed to kill the minions). I would've maybe firstly let the player explore the arena a bit, figure out you were supposed to hit the boss through bouncing, and then making the minions spawn so to not distract the player (this could be one of many solutions).

- The second boss's mechanic is perfectly explained, through putting the hazard right in front and letting the player see him being damaged. A nice touch, nothing to say! Great application of "show, don't tell".

- The third boss is a bit strange, as it doesn't require much skill to dodge incoming attacks rather than knowing where to position yourself in advance to hit the bag of money to deal damage. I kinda feel like she was the easiest to beat.

- The movement mechanics are fun, but often become unmanageable as the character accumulates momentum in certain conditions, and your only way of actual movement becomes the dash (intern mode). This is not really a criticism, more so an observation, because I feel that aspect could very much be elaborated further (as some of the funniest moments I had were when the character was speeding and bouncing everywhere out of control). But this also means that the character often cannot do precise movements.

I also really like how the dash mechanic was implemented, with the time slowing down and all. Maybe it could use a direction arrow that tells you the general direction of where you are going?

I hope these observations can be useful on improving this! Personally, I would really see this as a full release! :D

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback!

For the first boss, unfortunately we ran out of time otherwise we wanted to add an intro for it where an employee inadvertently bumps into the boss to show how to damage it but thought of it too late :c

Thanks for the second boss, we’ve had a lot of feedback on the fact that dash through furniture wasn’t clear, so we’re going to tweak the intro a bit to make it clearer/show it!

For the third boss, yes, we’ll probably do a pass on it to improve it!

I totally understand, we can try to put it more forward but in this case for me it would mean a new level to play more on it or maybe use it more in the second level with new patterns of furnitures for example.

The direction arrow exists in manager mode, we just didn’t have time to put it in internal mode too :c (since the dash direction changes a lot between the two).

Thanks a lot, we are eager to make it!

Those visuals and animations are STUNNING! Feels really polished and plays really well! each boss feels so unique to the others it's great!

(PS: If you're willing to I'd love it if you could rate and give me some feedback on my game! I'd really love to see where I can improve for the future!)

fantastic job on this! game felt really polished and loved the different levels created made each boss feel unique and almost like a different game genre each time. had a lot of fun playing and wish there was more!

Awesome stuff! I liked how different each boss felt and I liked the unique mechanic

Really great art style!! I liked a lot the music, SFX, and animations too!
Great submission!! Top 10 for sure IMO!!

I absolutely love the humor and art style of this game!  Spinning fast in the chair and bouncing off of objects is really fun!  I love the slowdown too when you defeat an enemy.

The one thing I'd suggest to make this game a little more satisfying is visual effects when you damage an enemy.  You have a good sound effect for it, but making the enemy flash red or white with a little particle effect would go a LONG way!  Your game is already really visually pleasing with great style, and this would help push it over the edge.

Amazing job!

Developer

Thank you very much!

And thanks a lot for the idea, we’ll see what we can do to make it more visual!

Gameplay is really good, surprised that my hand didn't fall off after playing it. Animations are smooth and art style is great. Tutorial is not very clear, but after understanding i started getting fun and wasted a while here. Great job.

Amazing animation. If you made it in to animation series, I will definitely watch it.  So fun.

Please rate my game. A more simple artwork but hopefully you will enjoy it.

What a wild ride, I really enjoyed the way you used the theme, and how well the art is. I wish there was a little more information on how to beat the bosses though, I was kind of just thrown in to each one and had to wing it. All and all it was a fun play. can't wait to see what you create next.

Neat animation styles, fun bouncing around like a pinball hitting these enemies and water coolers!
