Fun to play. The controls and animation are commendable. Fast and fluid. I used to purposely let a ninja get caught just to see the caught animation which is hilarious.

This is fantastic.

Such a fun cohesive experience and especially love the little animation and sound effect for when you get caught.

So hungry for dithered chocolate right now.

Love this! it would be really neat to have the guards also tied into the light/dark mechanic somehow!

Really fun game! Entertaining gameplay, good music, and great and funny art. Super polished. Also, now I want to eat chocolate. Great Job!

Really wanted to play the but got (love the theme and art style):

Hey, thanks a lot for reporting this!

Could you share what web browser you're using?

Submitted(+3)

Safari on OSX. Got it working in Firefox took about 5 minutes to load though, loaded much faster in chrome (60 seconds). To be honest I've seen a bunch of issues with Godot's html build.

Glad I persisted and took the time to get this to work. The game is really good, love the mechanics, theme and music!

Developer(+1)

Got it, I uploaded native builds in case anyone else runs into issues.

Thanks a lot for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

Really enjoyed! Great art, music, fun gameplay. Want more levels!

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing! We can definitely build some more, Godot 4 tile map editor is awesome. :D

Really, really well done. One of the best games from this jam I've played so far.

The art is so on point, snappy. The higher resolution drawing match the aesthetic perfectly. The camera sight on being detected is so fun.  I'm kinda wishing I could come with these ideas myself. Very well done.

Thank you!

OMG, I love this game, both visuals and sound are fatastic, I could see this as an arcade/NES release back in the day and being quite popular

Developer

Thank you! Agreed, ninjas and NES are a good match. :D
