Great concept with that juiciness! The Panini Projection adds to visual appeal when climbing higher and higher.

As soon as I hit a glitch block my brain just got so confused as to what key I needed to press, so I guess you achieved your design. Thoroughly enjoyed, and thoroughly confused.

Overall a great entry!

Simple really cool concept, big fan, I got on a good run and got to about 950 and then I ran into a glitch block and had to press combo keys to move and it made me genuinely want to cry so great job there, emotional response achieved.

I loved the way you incorporated the jam theme! It's something that's more out of the ordinary, quite literally hihi, a very good idea. The global ranking system influences you to continue playing!

As someone who plays platformers with weird controls normally, this is perfect lmao

Great game idea - I liked it!

I don't think my brain could cope with the input changes that frequently though (especially when the left key is physically right of the right key), just a suggestion but it might be an idea to have the changes less frequent to start with.

Other than that - really enjoyed it :)

I like the visuals, although it felt like I just got very lucky when I got a high score. Good game, the music might be a bit out of place but I sort of like the calm contrast it gives to the high stress situation ^_^

The music is too calm compared to the rage inflicted to the player. Jokes aside the game is very well executed. I love glitch shader

It still haard for me, my monkey brain cannot to adapt to new keys but overall it was still fun to play. I wish restarting the game restores default keys. Anyway, good job. Be proud of yourself.

nice game reminds me a lot of doodle jump but with awful controls

Submitted(+1)

It is good but extremly hard.

Very original, extremely confusing, but that is the point I guess.

What an idea!! I really like it. "Reverse control bike" in platformer.  Fighting with myself, and my habits of input, that very cool!

Submitted(+1)

Great choice to not have a time limit / looming threat like this type of game usually has. This allowed me to focus on the mind-bending controls changes, which I actually ended up getting quite comfortable with, somehow!

Such a good fun foddian twist, love it! I was able to get 3808 :)

The multi-key inputs are so hard, it felt like playing twister with my fingers.

Interesting concept changing the keybindings  each run and as the game goes on. My only issue is that some of these combinations actually hurt to press/ rest my hands on.   I  found myself intentionally resetting when I got a key combination that was not easy to use (like the left movement button being to the right of the right movement button)

Very original and the music was nice!

Fun and entertaining game, i really like how you elevated the simple premice of jumping to get higher with changing controls and different mechanics! Also the shaders are really nice

As an AZERTY keyboard user, the core mechanic makes the game way harder than it should. Maybe there is a way to detect the keyboard layout of the user, maybe you could use the actual letter pressed on the keyboard rather than the position on the QUERTY keyboard.

Developer

Didnt even knew such keyboards exist...

This may take away some of the tension, but maybe you could make it so you need to press the three buttons before the game continues since I always found my fingers were on the wrong keys.

Also maybe consider making the death animation shorter if possible since in the beginning when I was trying to get the hang of it I died immediately so I spent more time waiting then getting used to it.

Generally I like it!

Thx! I will try it

Submitted(+2)

i think keys should last longer, i always forget what i have to press  to move and start again

would love if it was longer or just displayed them on the screen at all times

And remove the leave game button from the main menu on the web build, if you press it you have to reload the page and the Godot splash screen last a lot

Developer(+2)

Thx for the feedback! I didnt even thought about how it impacts gameplay. May be i just got too used for it testing the game many times.

Developer(+3)

Still many things to change but i thought i can get some early feedback

All feedback are appreciated!
