looks pretty nice, map could be better for this style of game, maybe with like a fort or a second floor area or something .. first time i didnt know how to switch weapons .. its right arrow... many games use 1 or 2 or E or F or mouse wheel or Tab .. but whatever

- The game has good visuals and plays pretty well, the shooting in the game feels good and impactful although sometimes the player can block the camera in some angles and I felt the gun balancing was a bit off with the rifle feeling much superior. The shotgun felt quite underwhelming with both its damage, and impact while also having the reloading drawback. The weapon switch controls could be switched up to number keys rather than right arrow key as it is more universally known

Thanks for the feedback, this also happened to yours when I tested it here, it gave a download error, but I tried again letting it load for longer and it went past the loading screen, this must be because itch.io loading a WebGL can set something that It's browser heavy on itch.io, but in general it worked for everyone who tested it even on weaker computers, just let it load a little longer and then refresh the page if it freezes while loading.
the game is good in terms of logic, but the playing keys are very confusing, otherwise the map is a bit tiring, but the characters and creatures are suitable for the game
Thanks for the feedback, there really wasn't time to make a tutorial screen explaining the controls, but in general they are common movement settings in any TPS game, there also wasn't time to add more scenarios, I had created 8 screens, but in the last one One day I had to remove it and leave just one screen because I had problems with WebGL and I wouldn't have time to polish everything, which could cause a lot of bugs.
I really like the artstyle and the fact you managed to make a working fps in such a short time frame is quite impressive in itself. Some things to note if you are planning to improve this after the jam - I would really like an enemy indicator ui op up when the enemy gets behind you, a lot of times I was oblivious about them and they just sneaked right up. After like wave 3-4, the game became quite boring to play, although that might be just me :P but I would really like some variations in the enemy type and maybe environment.
Overall, quite an impressive entry.
Thanks for the feedback, yes, adding an alert when the enemy approaches I had prototyped with a shader that had problems in WebGL, and I ended up running out of time to redo it. I'm recreating this entire game with improved graphics, diverse scenarios that take place on planets and creatures and monsters with different types of movements such as spiders that climb walls, centipedes, creatures that fly, among others.
Wow, an amazing graphic and works good. Great performance and good fit for the theme!
Graphics are really good. It gets a little repetitive after a while, but it's a really good game.
It's a shame that you can't choose your character, but overall it's not bad. Monsters are very funny :)
Depois desse acontecimento, decidi recarregar a página e ai sim consegui me movimentar normalmente.
I enjoyed the first couple of levels - it reminded me of a VR squad game i played last year, had about the same vibe.
After round 5 it became a chore real quick. Kite them, shoot them, clear. There was not much fun to be had at that point.
Overall a very good entry. Visuals, music, UI were all just very good!
Fellow wave-based survival shooter dev!! Was seeing the twitter posts about this game in discord. So I've seen the stages of development haha, Idk about others but gives me left for dead vibes with the characters setup. This has the pickups system that I just couldn't implemented in my game (similar survival shooter) The one catch I would have is that the shooting/movement system feel too 'advanced' for the game style. It could be more 'arcade-y' imo
Thanks for the feedback friend, wow what a lot of work it was to have to create light characters that weren't heavy in WebGL, apart from the effects and the toon look that I applied which was completely destroyed in the version of Unity 2022 for WebGL, which saved me in the last one The day of submission was Unity 2023, where I managed to load all the Shaders, although I had to redo many things where others were left out, such as the selection of characters and other scenarios, as well as dialogues using Audios that I had made and didn't have time to add.
I intend to refine the gameplay.
The game has excellent graphics, the game is addictive, there are some aspects that I would like to improve, for example, there are prerequisites for choosing a character, but this has not been implemented, I also want to fix the lack of ammo in the game. And I would like to see a more expanded plot, since no matter how much you shoot at Aliens, nothing happens. But overall I liked the game!
Well done!
Thanks for the feedback, it really ended up missing a lot of things that I had planned to add but that wouldn't take time and would ruin the performance of the browser game, I started working on an improved version without size limitations for the desktop with more enemies, animations and cutscenes, in addition to the addition of character selection and unlocking, purchase of clothes with points collected in the game, varied weapons, worked scenarios, more balance in gameplay, among other points.
