This reminds me of Sherlock Holmes haha. Very cool execution of both the theme, and the idea you had. Well done. I like everything about it!

How does your game represent Mode?
Each level of Sticko Mode requires playing in TWO modes. First, you must play in PREDICTO MODE to plan out your every move to eliminate the aliens because you are OLD, but wise. Then, you must execute your exact plan in STICKO MODE without wasting a single action because you are OLD and can't move as good as you used to :(.

Super unique idea!! The premise is unlike anything I've seen. It was nice that predicto mode was forgiving in that you could undo your actions. And overall, I like how the two modes tie into the character.
I LOVE the modes! The normal mode reminds me of mystery dungeon. I really love the grandpa whacking aliens. I'm really surprised that our moves are recorded into DDR style in the end of the level! I'm enjoying that really much. I'd love if there's an option to adjust the arrow speed in that rythm mode
Great work and great concept!
Great game! I love the idea of replaying through the level as a rhythm game. There was a lot of charm to the music and visuals as well. Very well put together, nice work!
This is a really neat and challenging game. Very unique and smart replay mechanic that lets you re-experience the level with a different more carefree kind of challenge than the first time which is more like a puzzle. We need more games (way more games) that let you play as a Danny Devito looking dude beating the hell out of enemies with a stick. I was impressed with how the hand-drawn background really unifies the graphics too, great touch.
Great job on this game. Loved the art, music, and concept. The old man slapping the alien to the beat at the main menu got me hyped to play. Well done to the whole team. haha :)
I was not expecting Sticko mode to play like a rhythm game, that was awesome! Super neat concept, love the blending of gameplay.
Very original, it has a great replayability factor and the theme is super fun. Overall great experience!
Really well executed, the reveal of the second mode was really cool. Great work :D
Very different concept i really liked it , keep it up!
This is an ingenious concept and I love how the level design encourages moves that make for fun rhythm sequences, this definitely deserves to be fleshed out after the jam!
Awesome concept. has extremly high potential. would love to see this with polished visuals and made into a real product!
easily the funniest entry in here :D
Such a cool concept, reminds me of the boxing scene from the sherlock movie. You have to first plan the actions and then execute them in a rhythm game. I also love the music change in the STICKO mode. Great Job, had a lot of fun trying to finish all the levels!
This game had a lot of interesting ideas packaged into it, in both that you have a time-moves-while-you-move mechanic and that the difficulty comes from how smartly you play. If you don't conserve your moves in Predicto Mode you might fuck yourself in Sticko Mode. The game's aesthetic is really cute and the music was really good even if I got destroyed on the last level, but everything in the gameplay was interesting and well-executed!
The rhythm game sections are such a cool twist! I was smiling the first time it came up, and that music started playing- a really great moment that I'll be remembering.
this was INVENTIVE! i’ve never even heard or thought of the possibility of a rhythm game where you yourself make the inputs! extremely sick! the puzzles were pretty tricky themselves, but sticko mode itself was on a whole ’nother level. i could never really call myself a rhythm game type of person, so unfortunately i eventually had to give up because the rhythm part got too hard. :( one thing i would suggest is to maybe include a sort of health indicator? it was hard to tell how many mistakes i was still able to make. brilliant otherwise, though! i thought the entire concept of “old man fights against aliens with his dance moves” was fun and silly, and i loved the art, too. great work!!!!
