i played metroid prime on the snes, and i can surely tell that this was a nice game, i really like the map, in most of these games, you get lost most of the time, but i wasnt lost in this game, so i really liked it :3

Really nice art style. Its impressive to make a working metroidvania in 9 days. Good job!

I absolutely adore the presentation in this game! After it ended I wanted to keep playing. Great job!

Silly AI, it's called X now.

Really good game, liked all the power-ups, got Biggy as well!

You've done it again. I wanted to keep playing for way longer than its runtime.

Great little metroidvania with fantastic visuals. Apart from the final boss as others have mentioned, only notes I have is for visual enemy hit feedback, and a slightly more forgiving player hitbox. Very well done.

Really good and very polished. I wished you had more time for the boss battle because it could have been a cool moment to make use of all the powers in a singular fight. Regardless, one of the best entries for sure.

That was so much fun!! Super polished. I ran into a bug where the enemy assets stopped rendering. but honestly I was having enough fun it didn't matter too much. I liked all your different power-ups. Platforming was snappy and a good challenge.

Music and mood were really cool. I like the art style too. Powerups were fun and it was pretty challenging in the beginning.  I think the electric gun range was a little high and let you stand in safety while you blow everything up.

If you're into platforming, consider checking out our game!

Great presentation! Love the super metroid influence :)

Can't believe people are making whole metroidvanias for a game jam!

Oh lol I thought the same thing! Tough game, it's super long

Submitted(+1)

This is such a good game would love this to be longer!! The art is perfect and the platforming feels great. only wish I could pass through platforms above me from below but that all. Obviously given more time the Boss fight would have been sooo cool but alas. I look forward to maybe a finished game with the boss fight included?

I love metroidvanias, my only complaint is it wasn't longer :D i also love how you did the cutscene for flying away from the ship! just like in super metroid

Freaking awesome little Metroidvania game, great pixel art and use of power pickups to progress the stage. I wish there was a bit more of it by the end, but as a proof of concept, this had some great potential. Loved it! :)
