How does your game represent "Power"?
In a derelict factory, there is only enough power left to control one dormant bot at a time - how fast can you get to the final terminal? And is it even the end?

I'm glad I accidentally stumbled upon this game it's amazing!! The atmosphere is unmatched with amazing visuals and sound design. The puzzles are easy to understand and really fun. I feel this demo has only scratched the surface of what this concept could turn into. Keep up the great work

You're too kind! Thanks very much

This is a very fun and creative puzzle-platformer! The pixel art graphics are very nice, and the levels are well put-together.

Some constructive criticism:

-The visual design of each robot should communicate how it controls much more clearly. For example, if a robot jumps higher it could have springy legs, a robot that moves faster could have wheels, etc

-Maneuvering one robot onto a button while keeping another close enough to switch to can be frustrating, due to the small radius allowed for switching. Maybe the levels involving buttons could be designed to let the player carry robots on each other's heads more easily? Or maybe it could be changed so you can switch to any robot as long as there's a direct line of sight between them?

-Arrow keys + Space is an awkward control scheme. A and D to move and Space to jump would probably feel more natural

-The game in general could be a lot snappier. Switching between robots should be much quicker (ideally instantly, or in just a couple of frames) and the robots in general could be a little faster (some of them feel fun to move around as, but others just feel kinda sluggish.) Also, waiting for the animation of the computer lighting up at the beginning of each level slows the pace down a bit. It would be nicer if you could just press enter right away to start each level

Wow - thanks so much!

Appreciate all the feedback and will definitely be taking it on board if we continue work on this one - or for any future games!

Thanks again for taking the time.

Interesting take on puzzle platformer. Switching between robots, each with their own abilities.

Not sure if I supposed to switch to the lower robot on this one.

Developer

Thanks for the play and the review

You don't have to switch, but the lower robot has reduced gravity to make it more forgiving - some more challenging platforming was planned for levels that never made it

good game and have a nice idea 🔥 i hope you will rate my game 😊🧡

A very awesome, simple, polished puzzle game.  The whole vibe fit together super through all the gameplay, visuals, and audio.  The lighting is particularly neat, especially through the grates.  I really enjoyed this!

Developer

Thanks very much - particularly proud of the lighting on the grates :D

I enjoyed this a lot. The sound design with the electrical sounds and ambient music works very well with the graphics and lighting, really effectively setting that derelict atmosphere with a calm mood. The puzzle design is very good, and one thing I really appreciated and like is the showing of the controls through the background environment. I love it when puzzle games do that.

Thanks so much! Very pleased you like the hints at the controls - might have to make the reset option a bit more obvious though!

This is a very well made game, I love the atmosphere that the somber music brings to the toned down colors, its a very well made puzzle game with good use of the power theme. Really cool!

Developer

Thanks very much!

I liked the mood of the game, its visuals, music and sound effects. It was cool to see different colors and range of the energy waves each robot creates. The puzzles were a bit too easy though.

Developer

Thanks so much!

Had many levels planned but time got away from us - spent too long on the energy wave!

The art and music sets the mood for the game perfectly. Reminds me a lot of Thomas Was Alone.

Fantastic game, very well done!

High praise!

Thanks so much

This was great, I loved the aesthetic! Puzzle design was really good too!

Developer

Very kind! Hoped to get even more puzzle-y

Very creative puzzles, great execution on the theme through the gameplay!

Lovely little experience! My time was 10:11 (I added a speedrun timer to the levels in my game too). I had trouble in the room with the two robots two doors and vertical moving platform. This concept is a super cool interpretation of the theme and I could definitely see this being expanded upon. Great job!

Developer

Really appreciate it! It does get a bit tight in that level.

Great time! My best (after all the many many playtests) ended up at 2:52.

I'll be sure to share my best time on your game too

Great looking game and cool concept. It can be a little annoying trying to switch between bots that are too far away though.

Developer

Thanks very much!

Tried to indicate switching distance with the lights and radar pulse

absolutely stunning what you guys did in a week, the color pallete the sounds of the robot footsteps, every asset is incredible. it even being baked into the itch page so well goes to show the thought and care put in. 10/10

Developer

Thanks so much! I wasted a lot of time on premature optimisation - pays off with the performance now - but lessons learned for next jam XD

Phenomenal presentation and atmosphere! I really loved the main switching mechanic and could definitely see playing a longer version of this game with more bots and more challenging levels.

Well done all around!

Thanks so much! The Trello had many more ideas for levels on it - time is always the enemy!

Great art style and vibe on this one - really digging the graphics and theme. niceone!

Relaxing and fun puzzle gameplay! While it's not my cup of tea in terms of gameplay, the art direction and sound design made up for it to make it through the end. I'd love to see some variation in environment, or perhaps storytelling through the robots in some way. Other than that, great entry!

Developer

Thank you - appreciate the feedback!

I love this!  Great ambiance with a fun, nifty mechanic as well!

Awesome entry! I got a little stuck when i fell as one of the robots in the pit with no way to reset. And i spent a lot of time trying to figure out the controls, perhaps you can put them on the itch page description since its too late to add it to the game.

The presentation and ambiance are fantastic tho, felt great playing it.

Developer

Thanks so much for the play and the review!

Appreciate the feedback - we'd hoped the discovery of controls would be part of the fun with the hints around the levels, but can see how it might be frustrating so have added to the page.

(P.S. you can reset with backspace - hinted at in level 1)
