great game, the gameplay mechanic is simple yet fun and its very polished for a jam game. The pixel art is fantastic and there are a lot of fun upgrades too. Great work!

Really solid game, really nice art. I love the vampire survivor like gameloop, but on a smaller scale! I was impressed by the variety the game has!
Great idea and super cool art! I think it has so much potential to be really entertaining with a little tweaking. Something like moving a bit faster or being able to punch in other directions may be some solutions.

Visually and artistically it's phenomenal. I just personally felt the gameplay was a little lacking/confusing. But it's still pretty fun overall, with some fleshing out you could have a really amazing game on your hands!

It was probably just me but I felt like hitting enemies was somewhat inaccurate? Like the hitboxes didn't always connect so when I would charge up the fist it would just miss and leave me vulnerable. But like I said it could just be me sucking lol, otherwise fantastic game I'd love to see this become like a full project. The art is so beautiful.

Saw the development on the discord server, cool to see how it turned out! The sprites look so good and love the juice on the punches!
Excellent balance between charge and attack, and at the same time excellent fill and graphics. It would be interesting to have crowd control with charge, or dash for dodging, there are almost no protective mechanisms. But the game is great!

The artwork!! Amazing presentation and really great character design. This game is tough but it had me restarting more times than I'd like to admit. My only wish is that the movement speed was increased... maybe a dash or dodge roll? Otherwise, great game. Congrats.
Thank you! I'm a bit againts straight up increasing the movespeed since it would take value from the movespeed upgrade, but some alternative means of movement like a dash is a great idea.
Wow! Beautiful visual style, great character designs, and fun gameplay! I really liked the implementation of the double fist as well as the way the power drained to allow you to store some even after doing a big punch. The roguelike elements were nicely done too. Super fun!
Thank you! The double fist can be a bit tricky but it's my favourite upgrade. I'm glad I'm not the only one who enjoys it.
This is so sick. Oozing with style, super polished, and the risk/reward mechanic on a beat em up is such a good idea. Also a lot of the power-ups are interesting and more thought out than normal stat upgrades. Want this as a full game!

So nice. It did initially make me realize that I am bad at video games but I eventually got the hang of it and had a blast.

Thank you! I'm quite happy with the balance, my testers have all independently come to very different metas, so there are can be a few "S tier" upgrades depending on how you're building.
oh for sure, i wasnt trying to say it like criticism/imbalance, i just really like the move speed upgrade. i love when metas arent implicitly designed but discovered by the players, i still dont even know what the best strategy for my game is lol
