This game had things i do not know how to do, i cant never do it in jam time, great work
I appreciate it! Thanks for playing!
This game was well made, great polish :)
Thanks! I appreciate it!
Daaaaamn, this game is amazingly beautiful and polished. It is almost a profesional result. With some more features you can make a very solid Steam game. I really enjoyed the gamepay. The AI is not perfect, but works really well and I can guess that it needed a lot of hard implementation work. Do you use procedural animation for the legs? If it is the case, can you explain me a little how did you do it? I am very interested. Really good work mate.
PS: If you can test my game I would really appreciate it. :)
Haha thanks! It definitely could use some more polish but I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it. As for the procedural animation, it's something I've been really trying to figure out since I started making games. I found a short video a while back that explains how to do it in a few steps. I think the video was by Codeer on youtube so definitely look him up. So that video got me thinking on how to get those steps to work, and what I ended up doing was making a limb in blender, and then using Inverse Kinematics in unity to attach the leg to another object (the body). With the IK you can set the target of the limb as a point on the body which makes it really easy, and then you can set a target point for the end of the limb that's on the ground and then change it based on the distance from the target. I know I just butchered that explanation haha so I would definitely look up that video up and go from there. Thank you for playing!
LOL, I had already watched that video, I think that Codeer is the only youtuber that had talked about thist theme hahahaha. Anyway you explaination is very helpful. I will keep investigating this theme for making a prototype. Thank you a lot mate!
Really nice game i loved the visuals a little quiet with no music and few sound effects but the gameplay was top notch and the AI actually felt smart most ai ive seen in this jam has just ran in random directions but this was nice i loved it! i also love getting a double or triple kills, what would have been cool is if you had a narrator say like triple kill or double kill or maybe have points that don't really need to mean anything they just say like +100 points per arrow not used or +200 points per iple kill like a double is +200 but a triple is +400 or something like that. I really enjoyed your game nicely done!
i would appreciate it if you played my game thanks!
Thank you! I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it. Also thanks for your ideas! I’ll look into those. Thanks for playing!
I played this on stream and I'll send you clip from it if im not lazy.
Good game and getting multihits felt very good. Biggest problem in the game was maybe movement speed becouse it was kind of too slow. Also difficulty curve was on point
I appreciate it! Thanks for playing!
Hi ! I really like your idea and how the game looks. Feels like it could be more fun if it were more energic but it's only my opinion.
I had a small bug in which when you finish the level and you missclick next level you get a game over because you shoot more arrow than you need to.
Thanks for your feedback! I definitely plan on addressing both of those things. Thanks for playing!
really nice game, one annoying problem i had was that when i used to many arrows that it didn't reset automatically, and that i couldn't reset the level manually.
the game could also have benefitted from some chill music.
Thanks for your feedback! I definitely agree, thanks for playing!
This was so good! The only thing wrong is not enough levels. Maybe some environmental noises too.
Thank you! I'm definitely going to add both of those things as soon as possible. Thanks for your feedback!
That was a really great game. It was the right decision to make the arrows pass through. That way, the shots had to be smart. While the enemy AI is simple, the enemy detection light not passing through the Stones was something that could have taken a lot of time. This is a Jam game and the time constraints are obvious. If you choose to move further, I think the things to improve would be adding some ambient noise in BG, a little smarter AI with different types of enemies, different types of arrows, and a little better animation. I know you could have already got such advice from people before me and maybe you already knew what to improve. But, for me, What you accomplished in this game jam was amazing and it was polished to a great extent. Thanks for this game! It's always fun to play something that's polished this much.
Please consider playing and rating my game as well. I would really appreciate it. Thanks!!!
Thanks for your detailed feedback! I'm hoping to revisit this soon so I'm planning on adding some more variety. Thanks for playing!
Getting double or triple kills was very satisfying. Such a unique but simple idea as well. Congrats!
Thank you for playing!
It was really fun...wished there were more levels =( but just because I was having a lot of fun with it...
Thank you! Yeah I wish I would have had time to make a whole bunch more levels. Thanks for playing!
The enemy AI is simple and is very predictable but that is not a bad thing because you can't progress if you use too many arrows and you need to get these one shot two or three kills. The animations are a bit weird with the legs but it works well with the game, my drawbacks is that it doesn't have any music, and that it takes too long to charge the bow. Great entry!
Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate it
I loved the artstyle and concept of the core gameplay! I think improving the AI and adding environmental interaction would've elevated the game, but for now its a nice stealth game :)
Thank you! I'm hoping to revisit it soon so I'll definitely work on those things. Thanks for playing!
Really neat game with really nice graphics and killing the enemies was really satisfying
Thanks for playing!
The game is very simple but very cute!! And fun!!
I wish there was a sprint button tho, because sometime i felt like the game was too slow :/
Thanks! I totally agree, I think sprinting or some other way to temporarily speed up will be the first thing I add when I revisit this. Thanks for playing and thanks for your feedback!
Simple but very fun and addictive, liked the visuals and the level design.
I appreciate it, thanks for playing!
That was really fun. Super satisfying to hit 4 people at once. I really like your art style. Reminds me of sokpop. I really wish there was some music though.
Thank you! Yeah I recently found the Sokpop guys and love all the stuff they make. I'm a little bummed about the lack of music too, I was hoping to add some in but ran out of time, maybe in the future though. Thanks for playing!
Great game, so fun & satisfying. great choice on art style to make everything clearly visible & enjoyable.
I appreciate it! Thank you for playing
Short, Simple and yet challenging (for me at least), I like the fact you canchain shot, which sorts of adds an additonal challenging that is also forgiving when you messed up. I applaud your innovation. and thank you for the fun time
Thanks for playing!
Real fun, solid and satisfying short experience that executed the simple, single objective of the game well.
- My favorite part was hearing that sound as you confirm your arrow shot through multiple targets and they drop, gives the action and result a lot of impact that makes it all satisfying.
It was fun to sometimes try and risk wasting an arrow, just for it to make a sound that would attract more of the enemies to you and end up utilizing the arrows better as a result.
Felt like just enough levels to end having enjoyed the time with the simple and satisfying mechanic-more might have overstayed its welcome because of its simplicity even as well as it was executed. Ended on a high note.
- When you move towards the top of the level, it becomes really hard to travel back because of the viewing angle, worrying about possible enemies. It would really help if you could have the camera follow a percentage towards the mouse as it moves about to give you more control over your vision range.
Some atmospheric sound or something would help create a more tense atmosphere as you're trying to plan your shots.
A rising sound as your bow charges would increase the satisfaction of playing even more, giving more impact to the charge before the shot.
I appreciate your detailed feedback and I’m glad you enjoyed it! I’ll be sure to work on your suggestions when I revisit it. Thanks for playing!
:) no worries, good luck adding that final polish.
Thanks for making it!
