Such a speedy succceed!
This is awesome. I love the idea and both characters are really funny. The twist with the hero going for the chests first makes the levels very interesting and you get quite busy dodging all the incoming attacks. I thought the last level got me… While the hero was busy I was down to one heart and surrounded by spikes. The surprise saved me :) Nice job!

Nice gameplay, it turns harder late on but still fun, till my princess fell down a pit. I like the seudo hero concerned in lot over the princess safety. Well done!

This is just amazing ! First of all, it fits so well with the theme. Next, the gameplay ideas are great and the enemies are well done for such a small resolution, they really have a charm. Overall this is very impressive.

I adored this game! I want there to be MORE! The art is gorgeous, the palette is perfect. The music / SFX are awesome. The concept of a reverse escort game is really cool.

We've discussed whether or not to expand it post-jam and haven't decided yet, but we really are proud with what we managed to make so far! We even managed to bust out an update to fix some niggling gameplay issues.

I loved the game
The art style is really cute and minimalist which i like. The music never felt annoying and it fits the theme. speaking of theme, you pulled it of quite well, the game did its job by making me hate chad, that bastard. However i found the game really really hard and i got softlocked multiple times at the level with lots of spikes, keys and health points. overall i am really impressed
Thanks so much for playing! We've released an update that makes gameplay a little smoother in terms of dodging bullets. You still have to manage your health wisely for the spike room, however. ;)
Wow! This was really neat! the presentation was great and the music was catchy, and the idea was entertaining. i liked the puzzles, and it felt like there was a lot to learn in how to manipulate the knight. it was really damn hard and i wasn't able to finish it, but i think you did a great job. it also took the theme in an interesting direction, you made the player feel more like an enemy at the wim of the hero, not like a hero just dressed up as not a hero.
Happy to hear the music wasn't obnoxious considering it's the first time I've ever written music!

It's so hard! But it's still fun! The music is good and the sfx too. I like the jokes. The art is also very good. This is a very good game considering the short time AND that the engine you used is PICO-8.
Thanks for playing! This was actually my first time ever writing music so I'm glad it worked out. The text was originally just for debugging but it was so funny we made it a feature!
Omg, I played this so many times! It's really fun! I still can't finish it though. This stupid knight only cares about the chests :(
Anyway, there seems to be a bug that cause the game to slow down when you stick very close to the wall. Also, I couldn't open one of the door a few times until I walked away and walk back in. Other than that, this game is superb!
Sir Chad's true love is loot, for sure.
