This is a really really cool game. The core combat breaks my brain a little, I kept mixing up the ‘throw’ and ‘jump’ buttons, but I love how all the boss attacks interact with the core mechanic of jumping/swapping between platforms.
It’s also really impressive that every boss is basically always positioned in a ‘hittable’ angle, like even if the boss is in the bottom right corner, there’s always some perfect angle between platforms to hit with a kunai, very cool. The different boss gimmicks were pretty cool too. The ghost boss (4th boss) with the tombstone and the phantom frog was probably my favorite fight.
The art is really nice too, quite polished. Nice job!
