This is probably was one of the most polished games I've played, I only had one crash towards the end.
The visuals are INSANE and feel like you had a dedicated artist. Honestly insane how much gameplay and art were blended. It would have been nice to give a bit more distinctions between the player and foreground vs the background as sometimes the palette blended sprites. (that's the only thing I could fully point out because the game is so good!)
Very well done definitely up there as one of my favorites!
Glad foi enjoyed playing! Good luck with the jam!
Man. There's a LOT in this game. And all of it is so damn polished lol
Visual and audio presentation is killer all-around, and the mechanics were pretty simple to understand
However, the art for the level and background got in the way of the readability of the game sometimes. There were quite a few instances when I planted seeds and I couldn't tell where exactly it got planted since it kinda blended into the level art at times
And I'm not sure but it felt like some seeds bounced away and got planted elsewhere ? I need to play again and see. And I wish there was some sound effect or something to indicate that I planted the last seed of a plant type or sprinkler etc.
This problem also gets more noticable in some of the later fights like the eye and the moon where I couldn't see what I'm planting and where sometimes. That said, most strategy games have this problem anyway when things get more crazier lol.
I also felt that the particle effects on top of the exchange machine could've been slightly more noticable. This was because I didn't really notice them for a while and thought I had to just shoot the machine to give it points, rather than shoot at the top of it.
But honestly, I'm just nitpicking here. This is an amazing entry that's clearly had a shit ton of thought put into it. Especially in the boss designs lol. The difficulty curve in terms of the boss's behaviours was balanced really damn well.
Great stuff all around
Thanks a lot for playing and also for the pretty lengthy comment lol
A casual game is always welcome. The music is nice and the mechanics are very original when compared with other games (including mine lol). It was a bit hard for me to figure out the controls at first. I was lucky I saw Swagshaw's gameplay during the stream because I was able to understand quicker.
Thanks for playing! Love the art for your game btw!
Noone has mentioned the easter egg yet, damn
Top 3
I wish lol
What a chill game, man! Its too polished i have nothing to complain about.
thanks for playing!
Way too slow mid boss fight and way to fast on the shop timer
Do you mean the mid boss fight is too slow or that the boss fights are mid?
I mean killing bosses is way too slow, and the timer for buying stuff is way too short, i forgot to mention the art is the one i liked the most out of the whole jam
What a fun game, this has no excuse being this polished. I was not expecting a tower defense game to appear in this jam but needless to say you made it work amazingly well.
I only polished it this hard because of u lol

I really love this game (tower defense is not even my fav genre, but this game was fun) ....probably the chillest game in this jam. Boss attack patterns, art, smoothness, mechanics, solid on all aspects. And you've made this as one person which is also quite amazing. Keep making more games :)
It was at the cost of the codebase being a mess lol
I like how complete and balanced this game feels. The start was a little confusing since there weren't really instructions but I was able to figure the mechanics out fully as it felt quite intuitive. This was a nice and causal experience with some cool music, sfx, juice, and satisfying boss fights (I especially love the moon as the final boss). Fantastic entry!
I understand the start being confusing, I tried to make it as intuitive as possible to not have a wall of text
Really liked the assets and the design for the parallax bakground. I feel like it was a bit difficult to know what to do when you launch the game but when you understand the concept it goes well !
Thanks!
The game was really fun. The art was amazing. Great Job
Glad you enjoyed!
Very cool game! The bosses weren’t so hard and so easy, pretty balanced game! (although the default window size is rly small lol).
You can resize it in settings by pressing ESC!
Love the game, the art style is cool the boss desing is top notch and the idea is pretty good as well
Thanks for playing!
I love it, it felt so cozy at certain moments.
foda dms
Vlw por jogar!
I thoroughly enjoyed the game! The art had a cool and distinctive style, and the music complemented it perfectly. Your unique take on the theme struck a chord with me, reminding me a bit of the charm in Plants vs. Zombies. The bosses were not only fun but also intuitive, making the overall game experience a true delight!
Glad you enjoyed!
Very Good!
Thanks!
The concept is great, though it took me a while to figure it out. Sew some plants, sprinkle them with water, and let them attack the boss!
The same way you do in the main menu
I figured out how it all works so changed my top-level comment. Lovely idea.
Thanks for playing!
