All ingredients are on two Spinny tables. Also, some bosses have spin bullet patterns

Yes, I did all the code and art and my partner composed the music

needs more visual cues to signal to the player what has happened and what is happening. Nice visual though.

Wow, this is really an amazing game! The visuals are incredible, it looks from steam, really good job with the animations too, they feel too good! Maybe the game was a bit frustrating at times because the items on the floor disappear too quickly and sometimes I arrived just when they dissapeared but it was a great and challenging experience! Great Job! :D

Catchy tune, incredible art and controls! I didn't really get the "boss" concept it the game. But anyway that was a treat. I loved every moment of it. It's a killer thing!

Fun, cute, beautiful and pleasant, I loved it

I didn't know that a cooking/bullet hell game was the crossover I needed, but here we are. This was a super unique game, and super fun, I loved frantically running around trying to grab ingredients while weaving between the bullets.

Realy good things going on... I would say map need a bit more polish and it was sometimes frustrating to get a correct ingredient because of slow spinning.. overall well made game i like it

I thought it was crazy to get fired after all I'd been through! XD

The concept is incredible and the visuals are really beautiful!

Me when I'm getting shot while trying to prepare some coffee

I feel this approached boss rush in two ways, in the game meaning we know, and that my boss (the client when you work retail/food service) is rushing me, and that wordplay is great to me. I think the spinning table that's half this side of the screen half that side of the screen is absolutely unnecessary and just cruel. I think they could be two tables with different things on them to make the experience a little less worse. And I'd also like if the clients started blasting when I was running late, instead of immediately walking in with guns out.

The concepts are great, but I didn't love the execution. I hope you don't take this as an insult, (it isn't nocive but I can see it being taken as a caustic remark and want to make it clear I dont mean that) but this game could do great on Youtube. It's the perfect mix of whimsical, high octane and absurd gameplay that does well with youtubers, as there's a lot to react to.

The twist right after the tutorial that the customers were going to be shooting at me had me laughing for a bit lol. This is a well-made and cool entry. However, I feel like the mechanics could use some tuning. Because of how the customer satisfaction mechanic works, levels take a lot longer to complete and can take ages the moment you lose some amount of satisfaction and it's hard to know how close you are to completing a level.

I think it would work better if the bosses had distinct phases based on how many times you have satisfied them, getting more difficult each time. So, their phase would swap after every order basically and you would know exactly how far you are from completing the level and won't lose progress. The death mechanic would likely need to be changed a little bit to complement this.

Other than that, the pixel art and music is great, well done :) These are just my suggestions. Oh yeah, I also had no clue that dashing was a thing I could do until I beat the game.

Developer

Thanks for playing!! I will have in mind the suggestions on the satisfaction mechanic. I think dash is just introduced in the death screen of each level because yeah, you can beat the game without using it.

For some reason I had an issue where the audio was insanely compressed and loud. I usually use the Brave browser so I swapped to Chrome but it was the same situation there so I just decided to play the game muted, so sorry to whoever made the music.

The game was actually quite fun, however honestly I feel like it would have been interesting enough of a concept without the bullet hell aspect of it as it was kind of overwhelming and I ended up just getting stuck falling over and losing all my ingredients.

The actual mechanic of rotating conveyor belts of ingredients is actually cool and I like that it gives you the risk reward aspect of having to go further to reach the coffee machine from the right conveyor, so if that has the ingredients you need it's more of a risk.

It might just be me but it wasn't very clear that I could put 2 coffee mugs on the counter at once, so I thought I wasn't able to put my mug down but then I realised I could put it on the other section and then was confused on why I got 2 mugs out of it.

Also not sure if I missed it but I only learnt there was a dash move on the game over screen. I would have probably played more but every time it restarted all of the audio settings reset

Developer

First of all, thanks for playing! The audio problem its really weird, its working for me and other people I sent the game. I think it happened me something similar once (but like with a bunch of games on itch) and I solved it by restarting my computer. Try doing that and if it still doesn't work, there's one of the tracks on the trailer if you want to get an idea of how the music sounds like.

Also I will try making an easy mode or something after the jam ends so it will be easier for new players. Thanks for all the feedback! :)

Nice work. So much cool stuff.  Cool art, maybe a little more zoomed in on the gameplay could be good.
