Game's Take on the Theme
There is a game mechanic where you spin your sword to choose random curses or blessing for the next boss. Also, most bosses have a spin move that's hard to defend against.

Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
I used a model pack for trees, and purchased packs for music, but all other assets are handmade with Blockbench and Asset Forge.

A really good game, I loved the atmosphere and the PlayStation-style art. The bosses are quite original, though the second one felt a bit too easy, almost like it couldn’t hit me. The "Tortured Giganta" was almost spectacular—it was really fun having to climb onto her sword and enter through her mouth. Honestly, an immersive and well-crafted experience. There’s still a lot to polish, but it’s definitely one of my favorites from the jam. Well done!

P.S. It’s funny that you can kill the knights before they start fighting.

Thnaks for the feedback and I'm glad you liked it :) I had a few issues with the Terror boss myself, it was a little too strong so I shrunk the hitboxes - maybe a tad too much. Also, I wrote some code to have all of the knights attack the player if an inactive one is hit, but forgotten to call in the function, and only realised like a day or two after the deadline :D

Yeah, it's a little complicated :D You wait for the stab, and bait the attack to hit the statue. Then the swortd gets stuck. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing :D

The parry in this game works well once you get it down! I was able to consistently parry every attack from the first boss.

However when I got to 'Spin the blade to know your fate' I think the game froze. No matter what I did I couldn't figure out how to progress. The dash also does not work if you are holding down a movement key, I think the normal movement overrides it. Due to this I never used the dash to dodge but I did get good at parrying!

Awesome job I can't wait to see more!

Thank you for the feedback, glad you liked it! The spin the blade part is a button, but I failed to give that info to the player, I had that problem pop up from time to time when others tested the game :D

I really like dig the visuals and effects, has a very nice atmosphere to it.. very much Soulslike. Cool game mechanic and the bosses!

I really like those 3D graphics! Looks really similar to RuneScape. Really fun game as well, Congrats!!

Pretty damn good job on the optimization, I usually have issues running 3D stuff on my laptop but this one went really smoothly. Overall a neat small souls-like.

I liked the enemies assets and parry worked well, Good job eventhough it's frustrating getting blade buff and then it gets disabled D:

Yeah, I sometimes went triple negative on the buffs, and they stack - so if you get 3 hp halvers, you'll have the hal of the half of the half :D
