This is a really solid foundation, and incredibly addictive to play. I think it would be worthwhile experimenting with expanding the player's moveset and attacks.

How does your game fit the theme?
You are in a cave, and you keep going down, "diving deeper" into the cave.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Some of the code I used is from my previous games.
The art was all from the Unity Asset store, apart from some Particle Effects.

Wow, this game was pretty fun to play! Some suggestions I have is for the tutorial text to not switch so fast (don't worry, my game had that issue too lol), and also the game feels a little too difficult, maybe it's because the player doesn't have enough health/there are too many enemies? Other than that, really loved the game! I especially liked the fact that the gun can shoot multiple enemies at once, which really helps when you get cornered, as well as the level up every number of levels.
Really nice game, the art was amazing and the gameplay felt really good! Really impressive for a Jam game. The only thing I could point out is that, in my opinion, after the enemies get their hp upgraded, the difficulty pumps up higher than I expected.
Great game! Keep it up!! ;)
Pretty fun entry, my only complaint is that the gun felt pretty weak after enemies grew stronger.
Really great all across the board. I liked the audio a lot in particular, awesome job.
I played for a fair number of floors, the shotgun feels pretty good to use and the music is very nice. I didn't understand the decision to only upgrade the shotgun's third shot instead of upgrade the weapon in general as enemies got stronger, I would have liked to power up all of my shots.
I though that by increasing the damage on all the shots would feel like the enemies health hasn't increased. But maybe I should have increased fire rate, or recharge rate.
If I keep improving the game after the game jam ends, I will consider it.
Thanks for the coment! Iam really glad you liked the game!
Really cool stage transitions, no weird bugs, game runs and feels great.
You definitely have something to be proud of here. It would work well as a roguelike.
So good! I enjoyed all of this game! and the music was very accurate with the mood :)
The graphics are visually great along with the gameplay, I like how responsive shooting felt. Platforming can be improved (I was able to jump infinitely). The level transitions were spot on too! Good job!
An interesting game with its own story. The graphics are good and so is the music.
Very visually appealing and with a solid gameplay. I believe that the theme of the jam was somewhat bypassed in this case, as the only thing that comes to mind with 'diving deeper' is the transition between levels that goes downwards, but without any real reason (it could have been sideways or upwards as well). If you had found a more effective solution to adhere to the theme, it would have been an almost perfect game. Nevertheless, great job!
The loop is nice and simple. The platforming could have a better feel but overall enjoyable.
