Seems like a nice relaxing game to play. Really liked the music and sounds, and being able to restore air using bubbles.

Hey, very nice attempt! I liked bg music and visuals, really nice :)

Personally, I'd like to make collectibles more.. Explicit, like add particles, a bit shining, somehow to highlight it

Overall, well done!

I like that your game has a serious background message.

It's a good fit for the theme and has a nice atmosphere.

The animations before she starts diving look a bit weird^^ I also think, you maybe could have put even more trash into the water. Would be (unfortunately!) more realistic, and players would have a bit more to collect.

But all in all it's a nice little game to play in between.

I like your model and animations, impressively done in a week. I found a funny bug where if you press "SPACE" on the ship, you can swim around in the air lol. Some more terrain and fish would have made it easier to keep track where you are going.

Overall, I like it. The game fits the theme well and is relaxing.

nice music a cool game!

Nice to have a message. It would be better if there was more junks. Ocean seems little empty. Music matchs with the game. I liked the bubble particle around us. Good job!

Can you try and rate my game ?

Developer

I agree with you, I will work on it after the jam but thank you :)

Really cool game and noice music, but I felt like I wasn't doing much. Maybe increase the spawn rate of treasure/junk and have some sort of compass and a upgrade which lets you see where the nearest junk is.

But anyway, noice submission

Developer

I agree with you, I will work on it after the jam but thank you :)

The gameplay can be improved a lot!

- The player movement feels weird on the ship and I'm able to rotate them for some reason with up arrow while moving.

- On diving the player is still 'walking' underwater while sinking and I'm able to see top view of player somehow.

- Not sure what is happening on the bottom of ocean floor but only after 10-15 secs the player starts swimming with the correct animation.

Nice concept of 2D and 3D but the execution could be a LOT better.

Amazing Work!

That was a neat game, especially for a solo project. The one major thing I would say you should focus on is the animation as there's some mistakes here and there with it that you could iron out such as the sprite offsets. Also the game should have more interesting goals to attain for so the player doesn't get too bored figuring out what to do. On a positive note, I liked the diving mechanic and I believe that was well done! Overall, you did a great job on the game!

Developer

I totally agree with you! thank you for playing the game and for the feedback

Great job on completing this solo! Your game has an interesting concept, and I think it would make a great foundation for a relaxing exploration game.

Developer

thank you :)

It was a fun game, but I felt like there should have been more trash to clean up. The only thing I didn't like was the character transitions, the left/right animations are off-center so it seems a little wonky when you  go from up->right, etc. I think you can adjust that in the Animator? Might be worth looking into

Developer

I agree with you, I will work on it after the jam but thank you :)

You did the diving mechanic pretty well!! Really nice

thank you very much :)

I like there character model ^^ Reduce the size and sharpen your focus on the basics of animation, movement and mechanics conveyance. You'll reduce your workload, improve your game and the player experience all in one go!

Developer

Thank you for trying my game, honestly when I first read your comment I got surprised but after a while I thought about it and I totally agree with you!
It might be bigger scope than a game jam and in order for people to enjoy it, it should be smaller.
I appreciate your feedback very much :)

Good start, and i think it needs to be worked on a lot more to fix all of the bugs and try to learn about how to make a game good.. as in so the player doesnt get lost and bored, without a reason for playing. Try to make the content more dense.

Developer

Thats an amazing advice and feedback :) thank you for trying my game

I liked the idea of this game and the music is lovely <3

I recommend that you add more backgrounds so we know that we're getting somewhere. I thought I was swimming out of the game boundaries until I found an empty bottle. (which took me quite some time to find)

also adding easy to find bottles in the beginning will help us understand more what we supposed to find.

Good work!

Developer

thats awesome feedback, I really appreciate it and I thank you for trying my game :) :)

I’ll work on the things you mentioned because that’s absolutely true
