How does your game fit the theme?
You need to navigate in a maze. What do you will discover behind the next door? Enemies? Or the treasure you're looking for?
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes. I even use my own game engine!

Nice game. Great work. Loved the look and design. I did find the controls a little weird. I kinda wish the arrows would jump right to the door in that direction instead of always looping through them. And The "boop" sound was intense without any other music or ambient sound.
Overall though, great work. Really cool game.

Very nicely polished game! Looks great, plays smoothly, and has easy to understand mechanics.
The only issue I ran into was understanding which arrow key was going to high light which door π
Great work!
No lectures I could think of to link you. It was just a kind of intuitive thing I guess.
I went back and replayed it just to mess with the cursor, and to give a better understanding of what I was expecting vs what was happening. Thanks for the explanation of the clockwork directions. That makes sense and is easy to understand in a scenario picture above.
What I was expecting was something more along the lines of the cursor moves in the direction I press (if there's something in that direction). For example, if I press the Right arrow key, it'd highlight the right door. Then if I pressed Left if would jump all the way across to highlight the left door.
I think generally, I was expecting the cursor to move in the direction of the arrow key I press, and highlight the object in that direction, if any, That's just my initial opinion, and the clockwise thing makes sense too once I know about it. I wouldn't make any changes based on just my thoughts alone, but that's my 2 cents. Hope it helps. π
Loved to play your game!
I got really hyped when i came to the "thanks for playing" room :)
Wanted to open them all!
Wow even your own game engine!
Well done!
A very interesting game. Impressive that you made the artwork (excellent job there) and your own game engine! Sound effects were good, but some music would have been nice. Still a highly polished entry. Game play is unique, but easy to get in to. A map would have been great to have.
5 stars.
I really enjoyed the game loop!! It was simple but fun and effective. I was a little lost about the controls in the beginning, but quickly understood them.
I love this game so much! The art and color are pretty cute. The game design is a little bit cliche but it is still fun to play. I love to try many times to see the progression of the character's stats while fighting cute monsters. The fact that you use your engine is even more impressive.
This is a great game! I like that you get to keep the upgrades you got even after dying it ensures that everyone can finish the game at some point. That being said I still couldn't make it to the treasure room. I thought I nearly made it to the end and got a little excited because of which I forgot to heal and died which then made me rage quit :) but the game is still really good i will comeback to finish it when i have calmed down a bit.
edit- I came back to complete the game and my progress was actually saved! I didn't expect that, I was able to finish the pretty fast because of that!
I LOVED THIS GAME SO MUCH. So damn pretty. Just curious, is there actually a final treasure room? I played for a while and after a few resets got pretty op, but ended up taken down by a room of four zombies where I could infinitely regen health but the moment I one-shot one of them, the remaining ones picked me off. Wonderful job. Wish there was music. If you're looking for a composer to work with, please email us at lukkodigital@gmail.com, maybe we could work together? :)
Very cute! The rooms were well designed, the artwork was great, and once I figured out how to heal properly I made it to the treasure room. Iβm very impressed that you used your own engine as well. Adding the use of AoE spells or projectiles in the battling could be cool, allowing for the layout of the rooms to have an impact on gameplay.
A minor nitpick - the audio could maybe be improved a bit, although it does fit the style of game and doesnβt necessarily distract from what is a very enjoyable experience.
Great work!
Interesting game, I like the twist on the usual dungeon crawler. It's also made me want to check out tiny, so I'll give a try for my next game jam!
I love this! besides very cute graphics and such its a perfect 'cat game' . Aka when your cat refuse to stop cuddling you and you have limited movement due to your arms being a cat bed lol
Using your own game engine is very impressive! And the game came out quite fun and well-polished, nice job!
