Yes, all game assets were made by e22my_ in aseprite and the thumbnail and banner and some additional unused material in procreate by Nimilkyshake

Hee-ho. Beautiful art and design. But I have issue with left mouse button (don't work with any combinations)
I love the concept - absorb enemy bullets for abilities. It took a minute to learn how to choose the skills, but it worked very well once I learned it!
The time time slow skill didn't seem to do anything, I didn't notice anything moving slower, particularly not the bullets. The left mouse click no longer worked after clicking retry.
Interesting concept. Took me a while to under the controls. Nice art and sound
It's a pretty short game, but it was pretty original and had good graphics. The controls are a little bit confusing at the beginning but i got the hang of it :)
Great attack mechanic and art, one of the few games I actually managed to complete thanks to the healing. I didn't see any reason to use the dash and time slow though, and sometimes I took damage when the character didn't get hit by the bullets.

I really, really enjoyed your art in this, both in game and the thumbnail! Also, the gameplay is pretty enjoyable, the challenge of making useful combinations while you have to dodge the bullets/absorb them was fun. Wish I could play more!
Wow, someone made Magicka for a game jam. That's impressive! I went through many personal stages with this game. It took me a minute to figure out what was going on. The tutorial text was a bit small and hard to see and it was about a minute before I realized it was there. Then I couldn't figure out why I couldn't absorb red bullets. Ok, I still couldn't. And then I tried casting spells but didn't realize you need 2 colors to do it. Then I got to the stage where I was like, "White magic is the best because it's all you need for attacks" but then I was like, "wait, maybe I don't need to kill everyone. In that case, time stop is the best and both colors are good." But then I rushed passed everyone and couldn't exist and went back to thinking white was the best. In the end it turned out the best weapon is corners. Corners are OP because you can absorb all the magic you want without getting hit. Oh, and I never found much use for the dash spell. I had fun with this, thanks!
The attack-charging mechanic was unique and the pixel art graphics and the audio was pretty good. T the game is pretty short, however; it could've used more levels.
This game is cool once I learned the trick to make the attacks. I'd love to see this sped up and put into the bullet hell gamejam because this concept is awesome.
That being said, I loaded the game a few times but I can't get past the 2nd room, let me know so I can keep playing hahah
edit: oh and I found this game through your post in the community forum, try out my teams' game too, I also did the sprites in aesprite
Thanks for playing! I realized that for some browsers the game behaves a little funky sometimes, its most stable with Chrome afaik. Also playing your guys's game now and I can't even describe how impressive it is, Terrific work !
I tried again in Chrome, it worked! I got to the third room, but then was locked from getting into the forth room again haha :'( , don't know if it's a bug or not. Regardless, still love this one
We only designed 2 levels aside from the tutorial, so you are pretty much done there lol, ig the win screen didn't show up. Glad you had fun playing, Cheers!
Played a few minutes in the main lobby but couldn't get the attacking to work. Loaded the attacks with "space" and left clicking didn't seem to do anything. Nice art and game design, might try to play again later!
Thanks for the feedback! We should have specified that, you need to have at least two loaded charges before you can attack. so the possible loaded combos are

I really like the art of this game and I found the core mechanic to be really cool. Great submission :)
5 stars on innovation - I haven't seen anything specifically like this before in terms of controls! took a little bit to get the hang of it, but I really enjoyed it. The art is very cohesive as well.
Really interesting core mechanic for the game. It's complex but by explaining it well at the beginning it's really nice to experiment with. Haven't seen it anywhere before either. The art was also really good. I love detailed pixel-art style and I hope I can achieve that some day too.
Overall a really solid game although it was rather short. You could definitely go further with this :)

Really cool art! The combat has an interesting base, but it feels a bit off (enemies take damage a bit late for example) but other than that, well done!
Nice game with nice art! Interesting combat system but the death animations of the enemies felt a bit off. they triggered a bit late for me(but that's a small thing). Anyway! Great Job!
