How does your game fit the theme?
Safe Travels fits in with the "calm before the storm" theme by providing a brief glimpse into a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, coupled with chill music... And funny cows. The player will have the pleasure of exploring and improving their balloon in this serene and relaxing environment for however long they may want. However, this calmness is only a preparatory step, as they will soon face great challenges and dangers never before seen after taking flight. The peace that previously took place contrasts sharply with the difficulties that lie ahead in the path to making the perfect balloon for outpacing this hurricane, perfectly capturing the essence of the "calm before the storm" theme, which in this case, is a pretty literal storm.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything apart from some of the fonts was made by us

I know it! Cows can fly... (very fun game, the music is incredible).
Very hard game, couldn't get far! I didn't see the use of the fuel or anything change.
Overall it's a real good game like amazed how good it looks! And the idea behind it is very good and fitting with the theme.
Tho if you just balance the game a bit more and make movement a bit better cause I coudn't collect scraps at all in time. This could easily been top game!

Right now, the fuel's only purpose is to increase the progress counter faster, we wanted to make it affect the actual gameplay but didn't have the time.
this game is so silly but really hard to be honest...

Really interesting game, I spent time to fully upgrade a baloon and the last dirability upgrade does not have a sprite, which helped a lot in reaching 3k height because it didn't have a collider as well :)
Also cool upgrades system, though first money were tough to get.

Very glad to hear the feedback! We are aware of this little glitch, the cow balloon was supposed to be the last upgrade but something went wrong and the button doesn’t get locked, hence the lack of collision/sprite for the following upgrade. We plan to iron these issues out after the jam is over.
