How does your game fit the theme?
Both literally (the upgrade room is the calm before the storm) and in a fun way (you drive C.A.L.M. into the storm).

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All 3D models and voice lines are made from scratch.
We used DOTween and QuickOutlines, but the rest of the code is written from scratch.

Good level design and sounds, great graphics, I loved the rain. Game is huge, it probably needs a pretty long play time to finish , there is a lot of content and different upgrades, I upgraded Speed, ofc XD. it was fun

suggestion: make the initial speed more, more speed is usually more fun :D

Here is my game if someone wants to check

That was really good, loved the graphics and audio and the voice acting was great

Very fun game voice lines got a bit annoying after a while though(also looks really good)

Nice game! The physics of the ufo were well done. Also thought the ambiance was perfect. Really great visuals!

Astonishing. I am very impressed to think that was made in a week! I loved pretty much every aspect of your game: the art, atmosphere and the voicelines as well. The tutorial was a huge plus! Really great game.

Developer

Thank you for playing our game! I m glad you enjoyed it.

Loved the modeling and voice lines with the robotic sound effect. Just one note: the ship being slow in the beginning is fine, but having such low drag means that picking up the items takes some getting used to because you kinda just had to time it right. Regardless, I really enjoyed the game!

Love the voice acting. My biggest gripe is that the enemies don't follow the same rules I have to. They can move and shoot through obstacles, but at least it's not too hard to lose their agro, especially once you have some speed upgrades. I also found it jarring that I couldn't fly over the road 'bridges'.

Other than that, fun! Flying around at max speed feels great, and it doesn't feel too punishing when you crash into something.
Oh yeah, I also found myself purposefully bouncing off the walls because I wanted to go back and spend my scrap, so I wish there was a way to return to base of my on volition.

Nicely done!

Thank you for playing our game! We decided to let the enemies pass through walls because they are made of "clouds" and it was easier to implement, but yeah there is room for improvement on their A.I. The bridges are a bit annoying indeed and if we continue the development we are gonna adjust their height for sure.

pretty fun and polished, really like the voice lines

Creating all of these assets from scratch is really impressive! The tutorial makes the game feel really polished, but it is a bit slow. Wish there was a bit more to the gameplay itself. Good work!

Developer

Thank you for playing our game! There are definitely a lot of mechanics we could add in terms of gameplay, but we tried to focus on having a simple but polished result.

Very nice! 👍

Very impressive to have all this done so quickly.  nice work.  Really excellent and quite polished.

I wish the starting speed was a little higher and the tutorial presented me with an impenetrable wall that was confusing.

Developer

Thank you for playing our game! Yeah, maybe reducing the costs for some upgrades would make the game feel more fast paced.

The level of polish is crazy for a short game jam like this. This is clearly not your first game! The tutorial was well thought out, but a couple of comments (apologies if some others have said similar):

- In the early game, especially for a game jam, it's a bit brutal to have to collect huge amounts of scrap. Offering a smaller upgrade for less scrap would be a nice "reward" early in the game

- I understand that moving the ship is not meant to be fast or snappy, and that's part of the challenge, but for me it just felt a little too "loose"

Otherwise, I think this game has great potential. Amazing that you guys did all these assets in such a short time!

Looks a very good game, I like the voice, but I think the tutorial is a bit too long!

Looks great and polished. The gameplay feels a bit grindy but for a jam that's a very solid submission especially since you did all the graphics. Did you record the voice lines or you generated them?

Developer

We recorded all the voice lines and edited them in Audacity. I think we could tweak the costs for upgrades so it feels a little less grindy .Thank you for your input and for playing our game!

Pumping this out in 7 days is quite the achievement! I usually like to give some constructive feedback, but for me this is a homerun. Great work!

I agree with you!

Oh wow, very impressive! Great graphics, cool atmosphere! Really enjoyed it!

The graphics are gorgeous, they are incredible for something made in 7 days.

Would have loved some kind of challenge or new things to do other than get scraps and upgrade tho.

Also, I don't know if I'm the problem, but progression is very slow, it takes a lot of runs to a considerable amount of upgrades.

Other than that the interpretation of the theme is very original, well done.
