Hee-ho. Very smart game. Nice
My turn, draw! Monster card!
Interesting game about playing with cards.
I was so focused on destroying the ecosystem for profit that I totally forgot about the storm. In a weird way, it's just like real life, good job.
I played a couple of rounds, it’s very interesting, I appreciated the tutorial and it’s actually very un to see the number going up and down. I would however link the timer to either the number of card drawn, played or/and discarded. Making it somewhat turn based and not strickly limited by IRL time. Also, I think the “double for each connected cities” is wrong, for example one city was at 20 connected to only one, and it peaked at 99 for reasons x)
I would love to see it debugged, polished, with an end screen and maybe with some events happening so the text zone used for the tutorial is later used again + it created more challenge.
Thanks for playing! My original plan was to have a month counter advance each time you play a card, and that fulfilling more demand would make the storm come sooner. But, the balance wasn't coming together so I just made the game end 20 seconds after you pay the second dividend. The connection script was a piece of garbage, after hours of debugging it still has issues lol. I appreciate the ideas!
Oh I see, I think the first idea was great, just scrap the storm coming sooner. Or maybe cards are linked to a time factor… Well, maybe used & discarded card just move the counter up (1 + discarded cards basicaly). So if you use a strong card that discard three cards, you go up by three.
Really liked the concept! It was fun playing but I was kinda confused because nothing forced me to pay the dividends or was it just me not noticing?
Thank you for playing! Originally I had a month counter that would force you to pay a dividend every year, but it was making the game too difficult so I scrapped it. Now the game just ends 20 seconds after the $100 dividend is paid
A groovy and addictive game that immersed me immediately!
environmental devastation has never been more scratch monkey brain number go up
I got so caught up in the cards I forgot "storm" was part of the jam. I really enjoyed playing this! It was a bit confusing at first, and I could not quite tell if the tutorial was already over or I just had to pay the second fee, but once I grasped it it was quite fun!
A part of me is saying that an aftermath to the disaster would have been really cool, while another one is saying that the black screen of death is better because it leaves it open to the imagination, so I am not sure on what to say here.
Nonetheless, I had fun :D!
Thank you for playing! The tutorial was a last minute addition, so I don't blame you for any confusion. Originally my plan was to have multiple hurricanes, which would break connections and drive up demand. (One of the horrible things about real disasters is that they increase demand for fuel) But, my hurricane animation looked way worse than the rest of the game, so I scrapped it for the black screen.
Keep coming back to play! It's really satisfying seeing the numbers go up. Then the storm hits, along with the realization you've been destroying the planet...
Great game, very different.
So much depth to the game very cool.
Enjoyed playing...Great game!
I played it twice, the storm kept interrupting me!
Nice game, great job!
Despite the heavy theme (which is enhanced by the audio), the game is a lot of fun. When the storm finally came it caught me by surprise haha, was too caught up in the cards. Awesome job!
I played it becasue the brand looks like costco. Although it feels like working but it's a really nice game! Enjoyed it.
Whatt!! :) This game is really fun to play. Great job
Woah this is amazing game, personally I would like to make this kind of simple yet complex to play management game. I love it, lemme just do one more draw.
This game is absolutely amazing dude, well done. The design and theming is absolutely on point. It's a meaningful take on the theme backed up by well made, strategic design. Nice work
I made number go up so I did good... right?
I had fun playing :)
Idea is great! I've actually played it multiple times!
