*Probably the best game.

Neat game, I like how simple the art is.

Wow this is a really good game! I liked the visual style, music, and overall experience a lot. Loved the diffeent buildings and the balancing is well done.

One minor thing I noticed is if a part of the storm goes all the way out to the other end of the map, the storm takes a long time to finish with nothing happening, but I think the game recovers from this problem eventually, which is really good.

Overall, great job on this game!

An incredibly polished and enjoyable game. I didn't find any critical bugs or problems except for the fact that when there is no stone, a water sign appears above the unfinished structure. Really great project with a nice style.

awesome game, very cool vibe with the music and artwork!

Very cool vibe. Loved the various building elements and the storm mechanic was very well done. Great work! Congrats and good luck!

Great game! Super charming and well designed. I love how you have to break rocks to gather resources, causing more holes in your defence

I was skeptical about the effectiveness of the turrets at first, but it felt nicely balanced once I had several going and didn't feel too strong so that I could breeze through the storms

I wasn't sure, but by day 9 I wasn't able to build more structures. It kept saying they required water even though I had plenty stored and had multiple wells

Nice detail with the aging population as well

Great submission! One of my favourites of the jam!

Wow I LOVED your game. Well polished and so much fun. Definitely one of the best games of this jam <3

Awesome game! Very addictive, couldn't stop playing =) Great art, cool music, cool mechanics, matches the theme 100%. I just wish there was a way to cancel a building before it was built (I accidentally scheduled wrong buildings a couple of times).

Gorgeous looking game and a great mechanic to add to it. I loved every minute of what I was playing. It is very polished, and I think is ready to be published as a game. The music is great and cute little creatures are good at what they do :D

Kudos for making such a good game in 1 week!!!!

Edit: Noticed a bug or a feature which I didn't like. When a sand blob misses everything on the screen and crosses the screen on the other side, the screen gets stuck on this animation, and I have to wait an uncomfortably long time for the next day to start. also noticed that the minions get older... Good feature :D

Just got to say wow!  Such a gem.  A magnificent little game.  The art style and animations were so cool, despite being made in a week.  The music and sound effects fit perfectly.  This is one of the best game jam entries I've come across.  So much thought and effort went into it.  I honestly can't think of any recommendations.  Well done!

I absolutely loved the artstyle, the sound design and just the overall vibes of it. And there isn't really anything that I dislike tbh.

A very cool game. All I wished, but might be nitpicky , is that I could disable the construction of a building, even though materials haven't even placed by the little characters. And also, idk why but the first two days took not even 5 seconds to pass, unless that was supposed to be an intro lol.
Hope you'll also rate mine :) https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2973690

WAW ! Your game is litteraly the best game I've played so far and from far !!! Well done, every thing is so perfect, well balanced game, nice graphism, nice simulation, I will for sure play it again, those 30 minutes were not enough, you deserve a ton more of attention, you should try to advice a bit your game in the community because it is insane for a game jam !!! WAW !!! I cannot believe it ! Nice work !

I like everything except that I depleted my stone mounds and then my guys couldn't build enough farms and wells to continue living so they died :(

If quarries could generate stone in addition to metal ingots I think this problem would be solved

Other than that this is an awesome entry! The graphics worked so well and the simplicity behind battle mechanics is a nice refresher. The music got a bit repetitive, but it wasn't too bad and the other sound effects helped keep it fresh. The concept of the enemies coming from a random but specific direction each day is nice as well, forces you to build in all 4 directions without feeling thinned out.
