A fun game that uses the theme well. To improve maybe increase the amount of time the player has to collect resources

Thank you! And you are right sometimes you have to hurry a bit too much. We didn't have enough time to balance and test the game. Again thanks for playing ☺♥

This was a really cool game to play! i found it a bit to hard, but that might be just me beeing bad at the game as well haha. i think i found a bug with the electric fence? if you just swirl it around and click it will damage much faster. Great work on the game! :D

This game is an absolute triumph! The attention to detail, smooth gameplay, and creative elements make it an unforgettable experience. It’s clear that a lot of passion and hard work went into this project. Fantastic job! :D

Nice game, I really liked the pixel art both in the main menu and in the game itself! I encountered a few bugs but it was a nice experience!

Nice game. Two problems:
1. You can't play game in windowed mode (you can fix in godot by using CanvasLayer).
2. There was a bug where enemy got inside of my wall, and i couldn't attack him.
Anyway, good game.

Nice game, great graphics and even the menu is quite creative. I would like to have more game feeling, but I understand that there might not be enough time for this. The idea is excellent, the implementation is also at a high level. Good job and good luck!

It is a really cool game. I liked it a lot apart from few problems. Well the movement feels a little jank sometimes but that is not such a big deal. The really close camera when outside feels a little too much mainly when moving super fast with upgrades, although I found out that by getting close to the space ship the camera zooms out even outside. Also I don't know if it was intended and I just missed it but when moving the laser weapon around the ship it removed its cooldown killing all enemies basically instantly. Also in the description it says that every 1:30 - 2:00 enemy storm approaches but after playing for a while I am sure that every wave was about 40 seconds.

i really like the art! the gameplay is very fun!how is this made in one week?

Overall 9/10

Good game, loved the graphics!

The time between enemy waves feels too short, I can't get anything done before the wave arrives! Also, Zoro what are you doing in there?

I really like the sense of balancing progression and survivability when maintaining yourself and your ship, but I felt like upgrading the player was meaningless compared to upgrading my ship, with it constantly taking damage from the swarm of aliens. Because of this, it felt baffling that there was no way of repairing the ship's health compared to restoring the player's health. Additionally, the interaction system seems to work with ontriggerenter events instead of general ontrigger events. This means that players can only interact with an object when entering the area and not just being in the area regardless. Lastly, the inputs from mining and attacking with LMB felt inconsistent, with some hits registering, and others phasing through.

I really only wish there was a tutorial cuz this seems like an awesome game otherwise, good graphics and gameplay.
UI doesn't scale with the screen which is sometimes problematic.

8/10 :>

Really loved the game! I like that you need to leave the ship in order to collect resources and earn money. I noticed that if you just hold the mouse button and rotate the laser around the ship really quickly, it pretty much instant kills enemies (not sure if this was the intent or not). Also, I eventually bought the teleporter to get back to the ship, but it didn't work for me.

Great job and I had a good time playing it!

Wonderful graphics (I might even be jealous because they are not in my game :) ) and the idea and implementation feel are awesome!

However, the lack of a "game feel" made me feel a little bit empty. For example, there are no animations for mining, upgrading, changing ores to coins, and attacking enemies. Also, when I tried to get out of the borders of the game, it glitched a little bit.

In short, I loved your game (literally) and it was fun to play. The only drawback was the absence of a game feel.

Nice! I think to improve it:

  • In the beginning, skipping the dialogue should first go to the end of the line, then pressing again should skip it. Right now what happens is you have to wait until the entire line of text types out, or you have to skip it entirely, I think that's not as clean.
  • During the game, there's this thing where you have to go "in and out" to interact again if it's on the same thing you just interacted with before, which can be confusing and I think should be specifically mentioned somewhere in the itch.io page in case it might confuse some players. What I mean by this is:
    • You have to move out of the area and and back in to press E on the same thing again or else it does nothing at all.
For example, to control the electric fence again when you already just got out of controlling it, you have to move all the way back out of the area and then move all the way back in, etc.
      • This feels kind of tedious and slows the gameplay. If you update the game after the jam, I wonder if it should be changed to just press E to toggle in and out, not require to move the character "in and out" to do that.
    • After clicking the electric fence, you have to move the electric fence away from the enemy after clicking once on it, and then move it back to it before clicking it again, or else nothing happens.
      • I think it may cause some players to think the controls aren't working properly or "aren't responsive", so it should be specifically mentioned somewhere just in case. This is very similar to having to use E, there's this weird "in and out" thing that feel kind of unnatural and feels like it slows down the smoothness of the gameplay and feels like it lowers the quality  of the controls a bit in my opinion.
      • You may have intentionally done this to avoid killing the enemy as easily, but in case you didn't mean to do this, maybe this should be changed too should you update the game later, so you could click on the same place and it still damages in the same area even without having to move back and forth.

I didn't find any "game breaking bugs", so if you did feel like considering the above, I think you should not make any changes during the jam, if any it would be for after, if at all.

Overall I think it's a pretty original, unique and fun game - nice job on it!
