How does your game fit the theme?
Your ship has been transported to the sea of storms. As you venture further into unmarked territory, you will encounter more intense challenges.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Programming, Art, and Game design were made by me. Music, sounds, and fonts were made elsewhere

I like the unique idea and the awesome art, plus the music fits very good. It could use a bit more info on how your choices matter, but it’s super fun to play!
Cool game! The gameplay is fun and the graphics and audio really build a nice atmosphere. I liked having to try and decide what choices would be best and having to take risks to keep the ship working. Good job! :D
That's a very interesting game, I like the direction you took!
Artistic wise and story telling wise, it's very nice to have that much diversity in the different events, very well done ;)
I felt like the map was too big ^^' I couldn't find the endgoal so I just roamed and ended up losing :/ I guess it's time for round two then :P. Props to you, for a game jam it's very polished!
I like this idea, it reminds me of FTL. I want more games about travelling to exist. My main complaint is that there isn't much strategy to picking your path. The further you are from the center, the more danger, but there are no other factors to concider.
Wow great game. It feels like 60 secods. I just sailed my ship straight forward and when I thought I was out of the storm with plenty of food crew and health there were rocks blocking the path and because of that I sailed for 6 more days and died. Well done.
Very cool game, reminded me of "60 seconds" (without the 60 sec. prep phase xD).
I think the different events that can appear are quite refreshing and keep the game interesting. The resource management aspect is quite engaging.
I think a general direction where to go to would have been nice though, I headed west and then could not traverse the last tile; I survived for 15 days and then got eaten by a Kraken after going all in against pirates (and losing).
All in all a fun game with lots of potential!
awesome game, great artwork and fitting audio, i like the gameplay and how sometimes, in hindsight, your choices seem all wrong and your ship gets sunk by a kraken :)
Really cool game! Each run is different too! When selecting how much to feed the crew I got mixed up by the reverse order and ended up starving my whole crew on the first run haha
I like the idea, the music and the art! Survived for 18 days, and then drowned =(
Cool game! I like the visuals and the concept :)
Nice job! It's fun to manage your materials while trying to survive the storms ^-^ I like the mechanics and the things that can happen to you. So you're aware - when I ran into my first hurricane, the game stopped and would not progress. Good work overall, though!
Thanks for letting me know.
Very cool game, I enjoyed the cohesive visuals, and the gameplay very much! The game did softlock somehow after moving to a new square, but bugs happen. Overall I liked it a lot, nicely done!
NIce entry for the jam, interesting concept :) I lost my crew a bit too fast but it was fun ^^
Nice game, you could make it that you can make multiple choices in one day so you don't have to wait that much(it's not long, but still, there is some waiting :D). Asides from that I really like the idea!!!
interesting concept ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧
I like game art.
Ok so I played the game twice, first time my ship sank second time I got softlocked real close to the edge. It seemed that all my options were greyed out so I could not click an option to continue. For reference this was a calm day when the softlock happened. I have not played a jam game that had this type of gameplay yet and I just want to say how well you executed the UI. I feel like I knew how to play and the gameplay was really engaging for me, enough to play twice! I have one small game design feedback for if you do a post jam build. I really think that in resource management games it is good to let the player know what the consequences of their actions are. For example if I choose to do 4 food instead of 5 I did not know what the consequences were. If you had a tooltip that said (4 food = 20% chance that 10 sailors die) for example that would take the game design from great to excellent for your game. Great job all around though this was a solid game!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I do have an update cooking up that will remedy some of these issues. I'll definitely implement your suggestions, thanks!
cool idea! i love the design and music!
great idea, and I like the art! I managed to get softlocked when I didn't have enough cannonballs to shoot at pirates, crew to fight them, or materials to give up to them 😅 but great job!
Thanks for letting me know! I didn't have time to playtest...
hey, no worries! that's the game jam time crunch for ya. it's still a fun game!
nice idea! i like it! good job
