In what way does your game fit the theme?
It uses machines which the player has to rewind in order to make them act. Additionally, there is a gun with a rope that the player has to also rewind.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes. All the specific info in the credits of the game

Awesome game, very well rounded. Story was interesting too. It was hard to grasp the game when you first start, but otherwise very nice.
Please rate my game if you have the time. We only need 3 more ratings.
Thank you! I will rate yours :)
I love the sound effects, visuals and music and I enjoyed most of the levels, since some did provide a nice challenge. At the start, I didn't really understand the mechanics, but nice game overall :)
Thank you for the feedback!
Great game, the boxes with different functions are excellent, I could not pass the level where there are two enemies because it did not remove the shield from the enemies even with pressing both buttons, but with the experience I was fascinated by the game.
This is a interesting puzzle platformer! The winding mechanic is pretty unique and I could definitely see potential in expansion through adding more toys and enemies. Nice submission!
This game was pretty fun. The only problem is, in the 2nd to last level whenever the box flew onto the button closest to the door, it would only keep the button pressed down for a few seconds, not giving me enough time to get the other buttons and take out the reaper. Otherwise, it was really fun!
I realized of this bug after the submission :( You can go through if you put your player on the platform (but I know it is not the "best" way to pass this level).
Thank you!!!
Great game, there are only 2 things I'd change. The first would be to remove 1 of the 2 buttons you need to hit with your gun in the last level, since just getting the right angle to hit the first one is already quite fiddely. Secondly I'd add more levels since I really wanna play more of this game (post jam of course, it has the perfect length for a jam game though)!
I had the intention to make this level harder because I've planned to make other two levels related to the gunpuppet but I hadn't the time to do them. So, you're right maybe it was too hard this level...
Thank you for the feedback it is great people are playing the game and leaving comments!!!
Pretty interesting game! Some levels were pretty easy, others pretty hard! Overall a good game. Feel free to check out our game submission!
The mechanic is very confusing, but the game is very cool and the art is great. Nice job!
I'm sorry the mechanic wasn't as you expected :( But thank you for your comment!
This was really interesting! I like how you implemented the "rewind" aspect in both a narrative and mechanic sense, although I must admit I was a bit confused at first. Perhaps implementing a tutorial level would be really helpful, or maybe having text appear over the first few puppets to say "use e to rewind puppet", etc. It was confusing to try and remember what all of the buttons did, especially because I had to keep referring to your instructions on the store page. Still, this was really well done and polished, even for small learning curves like that!
I like the atmosphere a lot and the animation is super cute. The audio is simple but nice, although on my laptop it kept making this very scary robotic scream noise. I think that's just an issue on my end, but it was bizarre.
I do have to note that you spelled "puppet" with two Ts on the title art, but that can be easily fixed.
All in all, I think that this fit the theme really well and is a fun idea! I do think that you should keep working on the first few levels to make it as clear to player as possible exactly what their options and actions are, but I had a fun experience overall. Please keep working on it, I'd love to see it again with these small polishes made! :)
Wow! Thank you for the great review! I will change the art (you know we work too fast in jams hehehe)
Rewinding puppets are great idea, it had kinda steep learning curve, maybe introduce mechanics with a simpler puzzles first?
Great idea with those puppets. You could improve a lot with a more focus in level design. I feel like some spikes are misplaced and earlier levels could be a bit easier. The music is simple but works. Other idea is a little delay between the E button release, so this way one have a bit more time t jump on those puppets.
If you have some spare time, check my puzzle game. The main mechanic is time rewind of your bomb, but enemies react to your bomb is different ways. There are 12 levels and you can do they in any order you like. I'd appreciate any rating https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/721302
I like it! the way you added the rewind is very interesting. Well done!
*maybe you would also like to try and maybe rate my submission*
Really enjoyed! The mechanics and gameplay feel great! Unfortunately, the far left button in the last room glitched for me and wouldn't stay pressed down even with a box on top of it, but I still had a really fun time!
There was some kind of error in this version of the game regarding this button. It is true. Thank you for the comment!
Loved your game, it's so cute!
Please, rate my game too!
Very nice puzzle platformer!
I really liked the graphics of this game and it all felt very cohesive. The gameplay was a bit confusing but overall it was fun to play!
Idk but i kinda felt lost inside your game. Without the video it would have been a whole lot more difficult. And it wasn't the puzzles, it was finding the abilities or tools which was so difficult. Objective pointers or some other kind of signal would help a lot. Atleast for me.
The game looks nice and feels pretty good to play, the music fits and it does have it's own charm when playing it. Idk how to explain it better
Fun game with some nice mechanics, Good job!
nice game
Soooooooo cute! I love when the princess rewinds the hero!
I love you realized that! She was the true mistress of puppets!
