In what way does your game fit the theme?
The game is about a bunch of wind-up ducks that unwind themselves. If you don't wind them up, they die. So you have to constantly go around and "re-wind" them.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All the assets were made by me. I used 2 or 3 scripts and sprites from previous projects I made, everything else was made during the jam.

It's a really cool idea, a nice approach to the tower defense genre, also very original!
Art style is pretty, audio is funny. The only thing that annoys me is that the ducks have a really weird range, if they are too far from the enemy, they won't attack and that could be really better!
Anyway, good work on the game! Also try checking mine and leaving it a good feedback!
Thank you. The ducks were supposed to be pushed around by the player when they are asleep so people control more precisely which enemies to attack. I will change the AI and increase the range because that does get annoying. I left a review on your game: it's pretty nice.
cute audio and graphic. Definitely addictive and fun !
Thank you
This is so addictive it's dangerous!!! Super orginial way of using the theme.
Made it to the FInal Wave. I think I almost cleared it, but my ducks were dumb at the last second. T_T
The only negative point is that there's no music.
Thank you! I don't know how to make music unfortunately, but music would make the game so much better. It might be something worth learning.
This game started out fun. It could be addicting. I tried it a few times but each time after I got the first duck. The second wave with 3 red ducks, one always gets to the clocks and my ducks just sit walking around not going after the duck. Then all the green ones come and there's nothing I can do. I started trying to push my ducks closer so they'd see the bad ducks. I like where this is going though, it could be a lot more fun if the ducks always attacked anything that was near or attacking the clock.
You are supposed to turn them off, push them to where you want (near the enemy) and turn them back on again. That's how you move them and get them to attack the enemy, as they can only see enemies from a distance. You're not the only one, many people don't seem to get that. I will add a tutorial or add better ways of managing your ducks.
Thank you :)
Fun and amazing!
Art is amazing, sfx were very funny, the only thing left is a tutorial, but it's a jam game I get it
Yes, a tutorial would be great.
Wow! This is super fun! I love how you have to use the ducks and how near the end you can have a massive army of them! The sound effects were hilarious too!
I love this game so much! Everything from the different types of ducks to the sound effects quacked me up. Originally I was struggling with a single red duck that would destroy my clock while my army stood around watching, but when I figured out that you could push them while they were sleeping I figured out a strategy that got me pretty far (turn ducks off, push into position, turn on if enemy shows up). Overall this is a really cool game that definitely took the theme to a new level! :)
Thanks! Turning them off, pushing them and turning them on again is exactly what is supposed to be done and I don't think everyone got that. I am glad you did!
This game was SO CUTE. I love the sound effects, they made me laugh every time haha. Amassing a giant army of ducks was really fun. Sometimes my ducks would get caught up attacking one duck and let a couple others slip by. Had a lot of fun, one of my favorites :)
If you have time please consider playing my game!
Thanks! I rated and played your game ;)
Great work!
Really enjoyed playing the game. I liked that you got the bad ducks that you "Killed" as new ducks in your little hoard. For the few wind up games I have played so far I think this was the best implementation where I didnt feel too overwhelmed having to re-wind everything back up.
Feedback; I had a couple of times where a bad duck would sit and attack my poor clock and my ducks wouldnt go attack them. The last feedback would be the health bar UIs in the game, currently they will overlap my character which felt a bit weird to me. Perhaps sorting them based on the main element (Character or duck)'s y position.
Thanks!
I will consider making the health bars sorted by their y position; I agree that it currently looks weird when a cluster of ducks are together and health bars are covering everything. As for the duck's stubbornness, I wanted the player to move the ducks closer to the enemies so they could attack (your ducks have a limited range). I understand that putting them to sleep, pushing them, and waking them up again isn't perfect, so I am thinking of better ways of commanding ducks. I think that will help with that issue.
The ducks look so cute, love the art style!
The sound effects made me laugh a pretty deep guttural laugh. I really liked your implementation of winding the ducks, I think that was a really creative interpretation of the prompt ;). Great job!
The concept and idea is neat! The gameplay does get a bit boring after a while and it doesn't seem like there is much control over your own ducks. Also, some light-hearted music could be cool!
Thank you :)
Yes, the ducks are quite stubborn. I am considering more methods of moving them around.
It really made me giggle, loved the style with the silly sound effects, good use of the theme too. Only thing that I had an issue with was it seem luck based on weather i would have enough ducks in the right place to stop the other ducks.
Thank you.
The idea was that the player would put the ducks to sleep, push them to where they want and wake them up again. That way you have your ducks patrolling wherever you want. But that is a little unclear and awkward. I am considering better methods of moving ducks.
Definitley the funniest game I played.
I was laughing from the moment it loaded.
I had difficulty waking up the ducks, but the rest was amazing

Thanks. I will make separate button for putting the ducks to sleep / waking them up. That should make it easier.
Takes a while to understand, but when you do, it's quite fun.
Thanks
Very fun to play, rewinding the ducks feels very satisfying. I only wish it was easier to select which ducks to put to sleep and which to awaken... maybe you could put those actions on separate buttons, so you know which state the ducks will be in?
Thanks :)
I agree that waking up and putting ducks to sleep is sometimes hard to manage. I was debating whether or not I should make a third button, as it would make things much easier. I wanted the game to use as few buttons as possible (ideally two, because there are two buttons on mouse), that's why I had it that way.
Thanks for sharing this, I will seriously reconsider the third button. It seems that a lot of people think like you, so I will likely go with it.
Very nice! I loved the audio of this game and the clever take on the theme!
Thank you
Good, fun and simple game, although I kept dying because the ducks were too far away from enemies to start chasing them, maybe a 'duck whistle' that calls all ducks to you would be a good feature. Also the ducks are quite cute :)
Thanks for your feedback. The idea was you would put them to sleep and push them to where you want before waking them up.
I understand the current method of moving ducks can get annoying. I did consider easier methods of moving ducks but I was tight on time :) The duck whistle is a great idea I might add that!
Damn, this is good and simple! Had fun, lost at the last wave. Controls can be a little bit iffy to choose if you wanna make them sleep or wake up. Art & music could use a little bit more polish.
But in the raw game/gameplay sense, it works so damn well! Congrats :)
Thank you! The art side of things is definitely not my best aspect, but I am getting better.
The controls for sleeping and waking them up was difficult for me to figure out because I wanted the game to use as few buttons as possible (ideally 2, because there are two buttons on a mouse). I originally had it so each individual duck switches between awake and asleep, but that got annoying because usually they were in clusters so you would just have a few awake and a few asleep. I changed it so that it changes all at once: if there is at least one duck that is awake near you, they all go to sleep. That's how it works. But yes, I do agree that it feels awkward and annoying at times. I will think of solutions.
