In what way does your game fit the theme?
After the player dies, time rewinds and the player is put into a new location, but now the ghost of their past self is running around, on the path to inevitable death. The only way to stop them is to kill them first.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All code and art were made during the jam. Music and sound were downloaded from online. ( Credit: https://www.zapsplat.com/ and http://dig.ccmixter.org/ )

I love the concept! Never really seen one of these before and it could really go on forever. Its short and sweet. It also has nice graphics and music. Great job! It really has a lot of potential if you expanded it into a story and have plenty of different maps and would be very interesting to see what you can do with multiplayer too!
A story mode is an interesting idea... will certainly consider that :D
Multiplayer has been intended for a little bit, but we just couldn't pull it off in the really short timeframe I'm afraid.
We will be making a full version of this game, don't you worry :D
pretty cool concept. execution is okay. actually really hard after like 10 lives or so. overall good job, i love weird games!
We also love weird games, hence why we made one. We're fully aware that the game really doesn't do justice to the idea, and we have every intent on updating this game and maybe even releasing a full version! Thanks for the review :D
amazing use of the rewind theme. had a lot of fun in every iteration, i would like to see this game expaning in some way, really fun and creative game, great job!!
Thank you for the review! We have every intent to expand the game! Don't you worry :D
One of the most original ideas i've seen, has lots of replayability, so thats great. Visually it could be better, it is too simple in my opinion. Feels like it has a lot of potential to explode, but it isnt there yet. Would like to see future updates on it.
Overall, for a 1 week game, it is nice!
The concept was cool and i had a pretty hard time playing because i wasnt able to read goal of the game and took me a long time to figure it out. the game was cool in my opinion
Great concept. I have a 4k screen so it was pretty difficult to play with this resolution but overall id say it was unique and fun to play. At first it was confusing but then i understood how it all works. Thanks for making it !
We didn't even consider gameplay for people with differently sized screens lol. We'll have this fixed for the update :D
I really liked the game, the movement is fluid and the art is consistent, good work!
I really enjoyed the game, first try was hard to get the idea, but when you get it you feel like mastermind. May be you could have added some more feedback for the player. Well done to you !
Thanks for review! Game-to-player feedback kinda just went right over our heads since we may or may not have left a tonne of work to the last day... Will certainly be adding a tonne of feedback for the player when we update the game!
Really cool mechanic, gets hard fast (altrough you can create ultimate strategy™, but it will take a lot of time). I think that you should add some particles and some moving/ineractable stuff on levels (or some random elements). Overall, GG!
comment duped for some reason, deleted other
I really like the idea behind this one! The graphics could be increased but overall its a very nice game! Good Job!
dude at first its not feel complicated but when you understand main mechanic it gets complicating exponentally you have to plan your next moves, and past moves too, it feels like puzzle that i create and solve.
you're welcome... to keep playing this hell that I have created for you >:D
Great Idea. The Idea of making the past You(s) can shoot you too makes it harder and fun. This way you should be careful when and where you shoot. Somehow the music was repeating itself or something and became noisy (probably when I lost, another music source started to play over the current one playing), this is the only issue I had. Good job!
To be completely honest, I'm surprised this is the only bug you managed to run into xD there are legit tonnes we need to iron out.
The whole caution and half-puzzle kinda feel to the game was the idea basically. Take things slow and do things methodically towards the start and watch how things inevitably get out of control. Still annoyed we didn't have this idea during the GMTK jam xD
Very cool idea, wish there was a bit more to it, but still loved it
Don't worry, there will certainly be more to it once the jam is over and we can update the game. :D
We're planning on adding a couple more game modes as well as doing some polish. If you want the full description, check some of the other comments cause I've already written it a bunch of times and can't be bothered to do so again xD
this can be a a fun little shooter tun puzzle game. as you need to plan your movement in such a way that yor future self does not get killed by you and to still kill al previous versions of your self. i think this is amazing concept that can have lots of reply with more maps and so on
The initial idea for this game was actually a replay-based puzzle game, where your past actions would become a hazard. We figured we'd just scratch the puzzle element and put the player against themself, since that sounded like a lot more fun. We might add levels and crap, where you need to kill yourself a certain amount of times before progressing while also keeping your life count in the positive.
Not sure, but will totally dabble with it!
The Idea is amazing, good use of the theme. I would have liked fullscreen and some Audio. I like that you added the feature that the player is falling faster. The graphics are simple nothing too special, i missed some Particles to be honest. Just adding a Particle effect over the whole scene that looks like dust is adding a lot to the visuals. I also think that you shoul have tweaked the settings a bit. I also missed a Screenshake, that gives the bullets more impact. I also wasnt sure how many points i had during play time. A Scorecounter would have helped. Overall i liked the idea you could have tweaked your settings a bit, added some effects and it would turn out great! Good job.
Yeah, particles and game-to-player feedback have been recurring themes in feedback for the game xD
Will definitely add some. Full screen, audio, customisation, etc are also going to be added. we kinda just ran out of time to implement these
good job mate :) it was a nice application of the theme.
i would add some sort of a crosshair to identify where u are aiming at because it was kinda hard to see
good luck!
It's an interesting idea that could definitely be expanded on, but it gets difficult fast. I'd love to see more updated graphics too.
Yeah, we're planning on adding some difficulty settings so that newer players can enjoy the chaos of having like 20 copies of themselves against each other.
I liked the idea, but it is difficult, and chasing a high score didn't feel like enough reward for that difficulty.
Will put this into consideration. We were already planning on adding a free-play mode, but maybe adding varying difficulty would also be good.
Hey that's some real clever use of killing yourself! Actually very fun to play ! I love the simplistic graphics, I would love to see some particle effects tho. Cheers!
Thanks for the feedback :D
Will definitely add particles once rating finishes
1. dont kill yourself haha
2. I like the idea of the game. It was a bit hard for me, because I have a French keyboard. I'd love to see an actual character instead of a square, but hey. Game jam constraints! Nice job!
The title was our stupid sense of humour haha
And, yeah, arrow controls just went right over our heads lol
