Nice game, adding some particles and screen shake would have really made a big difference because it was lacking in game feel. But the concept is really well executed :D
Please play and rate my game too :)

Hi, I loved how you portray top-down view. But here are some critics:
- There was not much audio SFX. and no bg music
- It was lacking game juice. (VFX, particles)
- It was chaotic. Fun when more enemies were coming
- Liked the concept
Other than that good game.
I'd love you to have a look at mine and criticize. https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-6/rate/1177946
Neat! Loved the idea of cloning yourself and killing aliens automatically. I loved the graphics but somehow I felt that rather than having a top camera, an isometric camera would have highlighted your work even more, just my opinion. Apart from that had fun playing it. Having a cool soundtrack will boost the experience if you are looking to expand post jam.
Excellent game design and graphics! Also appreciate the music. Good innovation too, space games are cool.
The game is simple and the sound effects are satisfying. I know the grey bar is a sword, but it looks like a place holder. The game does ramp up overtime, but the game isn't that challenging. The player cannot take damage, and there is no reason to not camp by the ship, taking down the enemies with ease. Also, the song doesn't loop.
Overall, I like the simple approach to a tower defense game. Maybe instead of a sword, the player can have a gun, same with his clones. And touching the enemies makes the player loose bits. Also, try adding some incentives to make the player move away from the ship, making them balance risk and reward. A timer or score system would also improve the game so players can try to beat their high score.
You made it to 20!
The game has average graphics and lacks in the audio department - some sounds are hard to my ears...
The idea of spawning clones would be great if the clones had some kind of AI.
But I liked the fact that I can deploy them and re-colecct them later.
The enemies are quite passive, not a lot of challenge.
But there was some problem with collisions, I was getting hit even when not in contact with the enemies! I lost very quick and I don't know why:(
quite simple, pretty funny,
I would like to see some minimap that would show our expanding "empire of rotating people" and make it visible what are our weak point in the defenses
Overall graphics were pretty decend, although models of player and it's "towers" might be look more obvious, I was at the beginning scared that it was some bug that I have a big box moving on the player but the I placed it and catched up the rules of game I guess it was sufficient to have it just work.
Definitely change of sound layer from a big music menu and almost silent gameplay is not a strong part of game :P
I liked the premise, but the overall gameplay was a bit easy. I got to 500 or so and had to get a couple trough to make it feel more chaotic - definately something you can expand on (eg. throw in a very difficult mob in between ).
Things I liked:
- Your special skill: it was kind of weird to spawn yourself, but it did the trick
Things I did not like:
- Music was cut off after the intro, which was a shame, sounds were pretty basic so it was pretty quiet for most of the time
Overall, still a nice entry :)
Nice idea. I think the movement could have been better like forward would be the mouse direction instead of a fixed direction. Nice aesthetic tho!
This is a unique idea! With more features and some tweaks, I think this could be a fun little indie game after the jam.
