How does you game fit the theme?
Objects in the dark don't exist until you shine a light on them — what you can't see isn't real.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything was made from scratch in a team of two, including code, sprites, shaders, sound effects and music.

Really cool game. A great example of the minimalist greatness! I like these kind of games! Awesome mechanism with the light, and this grayscale with yellow gives a cool vibe for the game! Mesmerising entry! Great work!
Awesome game mechanics, amazing design, presence of easter egg ("the sun is a deadly lazer" is my favorite), i'm speechless, probably the best game of the jam
Everything is incredible, i'm serious. Graphics, music, mecanics... it all works perfectly. I love those little details such as the shaking text or the "boo" in a corner ^-^ Definitely the best game i've seen 5/5 !
This is a 10/10 game. The use of colours, the minimalism, the mechanics, are just amazing!! Congrats on this brilliant submission 🎉🎉
Great work! I like the concept and how you express the idea with very simple assets. Are you using the 2d lighting to achieve that? And I like the shaking words too, how are those made?
The lighting was done through the use of shaders, and I can't elaborate more since it was Lunasii who worked on that (I can however, say it was done with a lot of pain and mald involved). The method we used for the shaking words is a trade secret, but I can reveal that if any sane programmer saw what we were doing, they would lose their mind over how horrible it is.
Using the 2D lighting package would have been smart, and I'd learn it if I ever had to make something like this again. What I ended up doing was writing a scuffed version of raytracing combined with a ridiculous amount of stencil shaders, which is why the light can look a little weird at times. I also believe that good practices should be shared and encouraged, and for that reason I'm not going to comment on how we made the shaking text...
The game is really cool, I really like how it fits with the theme and it's really fun to play. Love it :)
Best game played so far, very good game mechanics, nice music, clean and simple art, challenging but feasible puzzles and amazing puns.
I hope to see this developed further after the jam!
Superb submission. This is honestly incredible. I loved learning the mechanics and solving the puzzles, which are in of themselves expertly designed. Everything about this game is so well crafter from the audio to the art, gameplay to the feedback and the atmosphere created kept me engaged and interested.
Brilliant.
This is such an amazing and polished game! the art while simple is really nice, the sound and music is on point and I loved a lot of the references, like the bill Wurtz one and the portal ones.
This was probably the best puzzle game I've played from this particular jam. I've seen the light mechanic used to hide and reveal objects in other games, but not done this well. The puzzles were all really well structured, the art style was beautiful and the controls felt really nice. The music and sfx were really well chosen too. The only two improvements I could think of were that there was some sprite tearing on the floor and walls; and there was also a section of floor on the double-eclipse level that you could fall through... really great game though!
Yeah, unity tilemap leaves some gaps between the sprites unless you do extra things to fix it, which we couldn't find time to unfortunately and hoped it was a small enough detail that most wouldn't notice
And for the hole in the double-eclipse level, we noticed it too late and were too burnt out to fix it.
Glad you enjoyed our game though!
:>
Clever mechanics, interesting and challenging levels, fitting sound effects. All in all great game, good job :)
This was done so well! I love the mechanics and the puzzles. The movement feels really smooth. The meme cameos were also fun.
Amazing game! How were you able to implement so many levels with such high quality? Great job!
The key to making good levels is having a whole lot of playtesters to tell you how bad your levels are and then proceed to fix them all hopefully
:>
I love the interactive tutorial and the way you implement new mechanics and explain them to the user. this is the best way to to id in my opinion. very well done I enjoyed the puzzles a lot
I was going to give this a perfect score.
THEN I SAW AMONG US
I'm really tempted to give this 1/5 in the fun category right now.
This was incredible! Such a polished game for a game jam and really fun to play. Amazing job!!
Cool idea and great execution. Just a solid core idea wit hsome fune variations for puzzle and well polished to boot!
Really interesting mechanics and pretty pollished experience, probably played this the longest of all games so far!
Fun game. Love that the platforms don't only appear when you see them but that they also disappear when you don't. simple but nice graphics.
Would you like to try our game too? You can compete against all the players and put down your own highscore.
An amazing game in all of its aspects! The puzzles and the hints were on point, the ghost was so cute, the idea of light making things real was perfect, I loved all of it!
