Cool short game. The titans were imposing and interesting, but I wished they had more player interaction, as the game feel a bit empty. The player also seems to stutter a lot. For me, moving the camera script to LateUpdate() from Update() fixed this problem. Nonethless, interesting game with cool graphics!

also, would you kindly help rate mine too? I'd really appreciate if you do, Thanks!

Mysterious atmosphere. Loved the shadow titan guys, they were cool looking. I liked how forgiving the platforming was. This is some great stuff. Keep it up

Nice game with creepy titans, which I especially like. The movement feels very smooth, but I don't know what to do after I collect all the items.

PS. I like those random texts "its not real".

Interesting game. Like the idea of the story. I think the level design can use some work, had to spend quite a bit of time waiting for the platforms to return, especially with such a short jump. I liked the music but the choir sound was really loud,  I would suggest toning it down a bit. I had to turn my computer volume way down, because it was hurting my ears.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! There was an option in the menu for turning down the volume of the music and of the sound effects, if thats the issue you can just turn it down there.

Cool game! It would've been better if the jump was a little higher and the movement speed was a little faster. The ending was pretty good but I'm keen to know more about what happened. The graphics are really good for a gamejam game and the map design is awesome! Really nice game, keep up the good work!
Edit: I forgot to write about the graphics .-.

Glad you liked the map, and yeah, the ending is meant to keep you guessing! I'll keep in mind you feedback about the movement.

What great world design here and I really enjoyed your take on the theme! Great job overall with this game, will probably come back and explore some more later!

Developer

Great to hear! Glad you liked it (:

Great game, would have loved to have an indicator of what relics were collected during game play though ,  the ending was good but was left with more questions. Was it the titans who destroyed the world?   What were the white X's on their heads? Also the music is that the steel pan in it? I love this kind of lore please continue to work on this. the titan designs were awesome .I love the steel pan music .

Developer

Yknow, this is one of the most encouraging pieces of feedback I've gotten! I set out to make a mysterious game and it looks like I succeeded! Thanks a ton!

Played through this whole thing and really enjoyed it. The art style really fits the story (although I wish the music fit the feel bit more). There was something really satisfying about finding the old titans and how cool they looked. Would've loved a more satisfying ending but it was still great to play!

Submitted(+1)

Also would've liked the text to have been typed faster for the dialogue. Got kinda annoying by the end with how slow it was

Developer

The satisfying feeling of seeing the titans was one of my main goals coming into the jam! I recently was traveling and saw some massive mountains and wanted to imbue that sense of scale into the game. Hoping I did! I'll take your advice into account for next time, thank you very much (:

A fun little world to explore! Had Metroidvania feel to it. I didn't get what the dialog was about. Nice work though!

Submitted

very intriguing.. I  love the style and the story.  jumping feels a little floaty and unsatisfying, you can try work more on that next time.

Very relaxing and quite atmospheric. The world was quite big and movement seemed comfortable all the way through so I never fell of out of the world unless it was on purpose. Music seemed to fit the theme well also. Nice little game.

This game is really atmospheric. Just wow.

Awesome Game! The simpistic art style is very nice and I like the idea that multiple platforms are different parts of the world to solidify that it has all been destroyed! Awesome game

Such a great game. If you wanted to work on it after the jam, maybe you could have the titans actually say something after you beat the game. Also, I never thought of the jam to mean denial. Great idea!

The concept is very interesting, it's a very chill game. It's quite refreshing considering most games are just so fast paced all the time,  with this though everything from the chill music to the slow moving platforms is just so chill! I just mentioned this but I love the music, it's a lot better than what I am expecting from most game jam games! Two pieces of feedback though, first, the jump noise kind of clashes in a way with the music, the jump is very retro whereas the music is more modern which is a bit weird. Second, the movement is a bit jerky, which method did you use to move the character?

Developer

Not sure why the movement felt jerky to you, that might be a lag related issue. Glad you liked the atmosphere I went for!

Submitted

just by the way, if youre using rigidbody based movement, make sure its being done in FixedUpdate and also if you are using rigidbody.moveposition, make sure interpolation is enabled for the rigidbody

Developer(+1)

haha don't worry, I know how to use unity  😂 I'm doing all those things, unexpected issues happen 💁‍♂️

Submitted

haha ok well at the beginning of this game I learned for the first time that rigidbody.moveposition exists and then could not figure out why the movement was so jerky (had interpolation off)...I spent way too much time on it and wish that fate upon no one lol

Submitted(+1)

Love this, it's a really nice chill puzzle platformer. Really like the art style and the audio too.

Developer

I really appreciate it!

Nicely captures the essence of 8-bit gaming. Controls also fits the genre very well.

Nice little game. Especially the art is beautiful and the movement is incredibly smooth. Jumping was a lot of fun.

But the game design is lacking something. I miss a bit of depth and good use of the theme "it is not real".

All in all, it is a cute game where u can turn off your brain and enjoy the chilling atmosphere.

This game was beautiful to look at, I loved the giants especially, but even the ground sprites looked really good, and it handled pretty well. Well done! Feel free to give our game a try if you would like.

Developer

Thanks a lot! Unfortunately, I'm on mac, so I can't check out your game /:
