How does you game fit the theme?
To spoil the ending: its all a simulation, There is no water, the controls as written in the games main page are intentionally missleading and neglecting to mention the eel being the real player character and all the fish the fisherman is trying to catch are not actually eel!

Love the visuals! It too me some time to understand that we could move eel with the mouse but overall very polished game!

Holy crap, this is such an amazing game for only 1 weeks. The gameplay is really fun! The graphics and music fit the game well. At first I thought it was a bug that the number suddenly goes negative. When I read the instruction I realized that eel give negative points and you could also move the hook, I thought you could only move the eel. Also the ending is really amazing and rather unexpected. This is a really great and enjoyable game! Amazing job

It took me quite a while to figure everything out but thats on me because as most people I hate reading instructions. but thats on me ;)

I didn't understand why the eel follows the mouse, but congratulations for the graphics, the animations and the sound! It's very juicy, very pretty and colorful ! Well done :D

Cool game. What's the deal with the eel. Why are the fish attacking each other (eel wants meal), in the end it doesn't matter the eel isn't real. (Sorry). Great game I love the art style (catfish) and the gameplay is fun and quite forgiving. Really cool. One thing: if you brought the hook all the way to the bottom you couldn't get it back up. I don't what's the d'eel with that but

This game is super cute. The mechanics are nice and simple and I could totally see something like this mobile. Gameplay could use some polish, but everything else is great. I like it.

This game's quite challenging, but also very fun! I especially love the art direction here.
Really love the artworks. The "catfish" is my personal favorite. All the animation also feels great.
The mechanics and gameplay is fun. Having to coordinate mouse movement and WASD really hard yet fun to master.

I only read now about your explanation of how it fits to the theme and tbh, I think the best way to learn about the game is to play it first.
It is a great concept, and the art is gorgeous. The fisherman looks really good, especially shaking in the menu.

I love the settings, graphics and the music! I would have liked the controls to feel like a hook at the end of a line or at least be able to reel the hook back up. Watching the fish get mad at the eel was super fun and the animation of the fisherman showing the fish when you caught one was so super cute!
Quite a charming game, the art style is really interesting and the concept is absolutely perfect. It definitely reminds me of the Jak and Daxter game, though without the ability to mind control the eel. Which is unfortunately.. I would love that ability back in that Jak and Daxter minigame.
Back on the game though, the mechanic of smashing fish towards the hook is hilarious, difficult and interesting. Mainly since they are always smashing the eel towards the hook and you don't actually want the eel. Good ol' "It's not Eel". Not to mention the area design and the hilarious ending. It did take me a second (and an explanation to get) but it was great.
Definitely going back to try and beat that 999 final challenge just to see what I can do. Otherwise though like I said this was an interesting game with a lot of charm, a great concept and some interesting gameplay that I was happy to play and will be going back to.

I absolutely loved the artstyle.
Only thing that bothered me was to see the "click to restart" text on screen the whole time.
Overall a fun, cute game with great art. Did not play through to the ending so unsure what the developers mean by ‘finding the real way to play’. As you progress and see more backdrops and fish, things can become quite crowded. The concept of eel or not eel alone fits the theme, but the player is punished too much for mistakes. This could be their intent I suppose, but I do not know for certain.
Surprisingly good. Best assets I have seen so far.
