The game is interesting, I rated multiple games and of all the games I played this game idea was unique! For some reason my mouse died in the maze for no reason although I was avoiding the (monster) at all costs.

Hi, thank you for playing our game and for your review!

To quickly clarify, the mouse has three stats: health, speed, and lifespan. The health is how much damage you can take from enemies and the lifespan is how many seconds you can survive in the maze for (represented by the timer on the screen). If either the mouse's health or its lifespan reach zero, the mouse will die. This is why the mouse died even though you avoided the enemies.

(If you were dying before the lifespan or health reached zero, please let us know, since that is a bug.)

My mouse didn't look too well, in fact it was a bit creepy with all those red eyes, especially when I brushed it . :-) Interesting mix of genres.

I have suffered with the little mouse every time.

XD but a cool game and amazingly much for just one week time!!!!

Very cute, I love the look of Babs and the gameplay is pretty fun. Reminds me of something you'd see on PS2. Great work! Keep it up!

LOL, this was a fun one.

The design is that of a maze game - walls, pickups, enemies, a goal

The strength of this game isn't in its gameplay design, but in the atmosphere and adherence to theme.  Evolution is a perfect example of endings being a new beginning, and the mouse *does* evolve in some way - she's not strictly an action-RPG character where Number Goes From Down To Up; numbers of deprioritized things also go down

It's obvious that the assets aren't flipped and someone put love and time into everything on the screen.  I found the atmosphere sort of Pikmin-ish - the fact that the predators just crash through the walls of the maze and are enormous really had me scared for my already-doomed mouse.  The deranged principal investigator's notes also added to the general "is this cute or horrifying?" vibe.

Nice game! I really liked leveling up the mouse and getting upgrades. The art style is very unique and the animations were great. Music and sfx were perfect as well. Great work!

Very impressive for the time frame of the game, some great polish in unexpected areas, like the plot of the scientists logs. A simple concept but done well, really enjoyed playing the game and leveling up my lil Babs the Xenomouse. Honestly a huge pull of the game was the mouse's design, I love it and think it balances out the adorable and spooky vibes well!

Neat game, kind of reminds me of monster rancher. it would be awesome if you could play as different creatures or types of xenomousies. nice work!

Nice game you got there. I only levelled for speed and at the end I was like crazy fast. Although this mouse is probably going to give me nightmares since it is super creepy with it's red bubbly eyes.

I don't think there is anything other to say than it is a very solid game, straightforward to understand and very engaging and fun to play. Congrats!

Done very well for the timeframe! So far I think this game fits the theme the best.

What a cool game! I had so much fun playing. I loved raising Babs and thought the log entries were funny and added a lot to the game. The maze was the right amount of challenging, it took me 13 rounds to win. Great job!

i love it, it's a really fun game and it fits the theme very well.

This was incredible.  Especially given it was done in a week.  I love the loop.  Not really sure what brushing or dancing does, but still this was really well done.  Bravo!

I feel the game is very polished. Artist really done a good job doing all of the model/animation/texture within very short amount of time. Game design is on point, specially for onboarding players. It is easy to understand and not confusing with too many option. Brush and Dance feature is my favorite. Music add flavors to the game. Those little details give more life to the game and I love it. I see no weird bugs so good job programmers. Loop gameplay power ups and upgrade are cool, but players might get bored easily if they cannot find the exit within a few runs. It took me 9th attempt to find it. There is something to need balancing on that side. I think with 7 days of development, it's job well done.

Fun little weird game! The mouse was an absolute monstrosity, sadly never passed the whole maze.

Very fun tho, liked the cute dance. Great work!!
