The firefighter dancing to extinguish fires is absolutely gold. Pretty good! I coincidentally made a game opposite from yours for this jam haha!
Was fun.. really like resource mgmt games. Wish I could select multiple units at a time, but that might've been an issue for balance. Overall, great job.

Couple of things. First. I really enjoyed this, but I have a few pieces of feedback. It was very slow paced. Health bars above the camps to see the progress of building them would have gone a long way. Possibly adding the ability to make more than 2 camps to get money faster. My forest caught fire and both my camps burned before I ever had enough money for firefighters. Again, this was super nice and probably just needed a little more time in the oven for balancing. Great job!
Cool little game here which could definitely be expanded on liked the art and style of the game and was fun too i also read below that u were the only programmer and it was your first game of this genre so well done kudos to you

I can see people enjoying this. A little slow paced for me. I'm confused on how to get money. Does it just trickle in over time? Not being able to afford a fire fighter and fires breaking out kinda sucked :/. I think this could be amazing with some balancing. Way to go!
Well for starters I had to turn on potato mode, but I really got pretty invested in the game :) I was DEVASTATED when I got a bit rash with my spending so I couldn't afford to put out a fire lol. Overall a very unique experience. The constant threat of the bears also added a lot too. Good work!

This is a cool game with a neat concept. Rebuilding a forest is pretty neat and it's really satisfying to clear out the burnt trees and plant new ones. The one problem is that it takes a long time to plant 75 trees. Unfortunately the game crashed after 30 minutes of playing so I wasn't able to finish it. I would suggest lowering the tree count or increasing your money to make planting easier. The visuals are simple but nice and the same is true for the audio. Overall, a neat game!

Unfortunatelyas i was the only programmer and as i never made a game of this genre before i only had a small amount of time to actually test the game as a whole at the end and it was not enough for me to balance the game properly. I wonder why it crashed though.
Yeah, Idk why it crashed. It was the web build so maybe that was part of it.
Very fun, couldn't stop
I loved the artstyle, the animations, the end screen. It was cool playing a very different type of game from the ones I usually make. I will say that the gameplay loop gets a bit stale towards the end, and that I feel horrible murdering so many innocent bears. Good work!

Cool game. Generally well working mechanics and a gameplay loop. Balanced resources. Maybe have a lower goal or a larger map with more camps. I just waited for money in the end. Overall great game.
I had a bit of an issue with the units doing what they were supposed to do, primarily the firefighter, I got one as soon as I could and he didn't seem to do anything, so my camps burned down every time even if I directed him to them, which put me into a negative resource yield. The cover art is really good though, and the axe swinging animation, while derpy and ragdoll-like, was amusing to watch.
Thank you for the feedback. Yeah there seems to be a bug with camp fires as the fire is supposed to be on the camp and not next to it. To make the unit douse the flames you need to click the camp and not the fire .
I love the thumbnail!! ... also the noisy tex in the game and game idea...i wished their would be like a progress bar on the indudiual units...
